Putting a lightning deal in your cart will not reserve it. If they become 100% claimed before you check out then you are SOL as far as I understand it.

Probably $35 since that's what L4D2 and Dragon Age dropped to. I think the lowest we could see it go is $30.

Finally got Amazon to acquiesce on the Resident Evil 5 price of $19.99. The customer service rep claimed that there was no history whatsoever of a Lightning Deal for the item, but that it would actually go up sometime today for $24.98. I insisted that there was a Lightning Deal late last night that had matched Best Buy's ad. The rep then tried to play with semantics and say that they don't have a pricematch policy, forcing me to explain his company's own Black Friday Deals Week ("We’re searching for the best Black Friday deals everywhere--including deals other stores are planning--so we can meet or beat their prices and bring them to you even earlier."). He kept insisting, I kept insisting. He was the first to give in. Really odd experience with Amazon customer service.

This is correct... as I could not check out with RE5 at 20 due to their own issues last nite... I bought it from Best Buy instead. Just now I check to see if I could add to cart for 20, and it did (though deal long claimed and gone). I actually deleted it from my cart long ago, but the discount was there.

Killzone 2 = Great after they patched the controls. (Beat the game w/ their standard control method, now I love the fixed verison.) Great online game.

Uncharted = Fun, but if you hate Gears of War's run-to-cover-and-shoot-and-repeat, it gets old. I finished it, loved the story and polish, but I'd never play it again.

I am praying it is NBA2K10. I have been waiting for that one for a while.

Picked up L4D2 & Dragon Age at $35.00. Next up is Brutal Legend. I love Amazon. If only they would match the Old Navy Lego Rock Band at $20 so I don't have to stand outside at 2AM.

The game has froze my xbox at least 15 times. I still can't play myplayer as the game freezes when it tries to load a game.

A patch that didn't fix much, yes. They claimed to fix the frame rate issue but its still there, and they also claimed to fix the clone glitch in my player mode. Wasn't fixed at all, my player I made was on 2 teams somehow.

They already had 2k10 for $25 so it's probably live. I still prefer 2k but they let everyone down by not even bothering to test their game. The online is worst than 2k9 right now.... If you never played 2k9 the online was horrible for team up mode. Somehow they made it worst.

It seems like they are following pretty much the same pattern today, so I'm expecting it for $35: not really low enough for me to bite. This game has been traded back in like hell everywhere I go, and I can definitely see it with a $20 price tag in the near future. I would definitely grab it at $25-30.
