I recommend both, personally I think there both great series. On a side note if your expecting a lot of action in john adams you wont see much. I remember the commercial showing a lot of action but literally showed everything that was in it. But still a good mini series.
 
John A has been announced for Blu, so I am hoping so will Rome. I'll wait to rent them on higher def, if buy price is too crazy initially.
 
Thanks for posting this! My sister has John Adams on her amazon wish list, so it's always nice to be able to pick up something on the cheap.

LOL...yeah. I mean, I don't think anyone should have really expected much action in a series about John Adams, but HBO certainly tried to make it look like there was a lot.

I think I will wait for John Adams to be on Blu. It was excellent, even though I much preferred the lead up to the Revolution and the war itself. I got pretty bored of it the series after that. Still haven't watched the last couple of episodes, which are still sitting on my DVR.
