[Amazon/Hastings] Age of Conan 60-Day Time Card: $0.79

Crap, they're gone. Real soon after I ordered. Hastings online division royally sucks (they cancelled a pre-order on a 360 game on me but waited until almost a week after it came out to cancel). I had to turn around and get the Collector's edition from NewEgg and I'll probably end up with that and no cards to go with it. No good without cheap 60 day cards to me.

You can tell they suck by my delivery estimate: Mar 30 through Apr. 15? Lame.
 
Dang, I'm too slow. I have the game but thought that $15 a month was too much to continue considering all the other games I have.

edit: oh wait, this was through Hastings' amazon store? Good luck getting your orders. I've ordered some unusually low price mistakes from them before and they've all been cancelled.

I believe Hastings had an album listed under the Vinyl category (Description included...) and sent me a CD. I won't buy from them again. Ever. I really don't know how you can screw up *that* bad.

As I said earlier, I know they suck, but they already charged my card and send me an extra e-mail confirming the order. I don't know how they have the store rating they do. I'll be ripping them if they screw this up.

same thing happened to me-- charged credit card, confirmation. then i called them to make sure and the lady goes "oh, um, looks like we don't have it in stock"

You did the right thing calling them, because if you e-mail them if they respond at all it is days later. I guess I don't even want to know how long it took them to refund your CC.

I guess this thread will be active a while with stories related to this . . .

nah, but their feedback rating is 93%, which is pretty shitty on amazon, especially considering they somehow get 1000+ feedback a day.

I could have sworn it was 95-96 when I checked it the same day I ordered, but no matter, I went into this with my eyes wide open. Its too good of a price to not attempt. So what if it doesn't work out, I chargeback the credit card.

FYI, these are available once again. It looks like there are 3 more available after the order I placed. Hoping these go through, I've been wanting to play this again. I haven't played it since launch and for this price I couldn't pass it up.
 
Is this game so far gone that if I buy a card, the game will come to an end? I don't know much about MMOs, but will this game be around in 60 days?

Just curious because maybe I'll give it a try.
 
not sure why everyone is even purchasing so many cards. you will get bored after about 25 days and quit. the game lost its luster pretty fast and in the end, was just another sub par MMO. But at least it definitely different than most other MMO I have played and has some creative and interesting features, but not polished enough to be quite there yet.
