amazon price matching

CAGiversary!
What does it take for them to drop a price? Today I noticed a few retailers dropping WOW:Cata under 29.99, One retailer had it for 28.44+3.99 standard but by the time I noticed this it was S.O. I talked to a rep and fed me BS about their policies so any advise?

The only way I know to get amazon to reduce a price is to go to the listing, then click "tell us about a lower price?"

The link should be at the bottom of their description of the item (where it shows the ASIN number)

Amazon won't match the price from another vendor unless it's a "real" vendor like:

Best Buy
Target
Walmart
NewEgg.com
Buy.com

Some random third party vendor won't have Amazon adjust their prices to match.

Amazon all of a sudden got real bad about price matchong this year. It used to he that the moment tye word got out that a retailer was having a sale or a lower price, Amazon wold adjust. This year they've rarely done that at all. For example in the past, Amazon has matched all retailers Black Friday prices, at least during the equivilent time period. This year they had lightning deals that mostpy matched others prices, but no extended price matches.
