Amazon Prime and Shipping Question

Sooooo as the title states, I have a question about Amazon shipping.  I never have really bought anything from Amazon (with the exception of some HDMI cables a buddy ordered for me using his Prime account), as I get most if not all of my games from Best Buy.  But I was interested in a copy of Bloodborne Collector's Edition since they got some in stock and Best Buy is sold out (sadly).  I was wondering however how they pack their games for shipping.  Is it pretty decent and safe?  And by safe I don't mean jamming a cardboard slipcase game in a bubble mailer, but rather ship it in a box to protect it.  Any info is very much appreciated.

Also, what is your opinion on Amazon Prime?  I don't order much from Amazon, but in rare instances like this It might be nice to have.

They almost always ship my 3DS games in bubble mailers, including collector's/first press editions (which is why I avoid buying them there anymore), but other types of collectables I've ordered from them, including PC game CEs, get shipped in boxes. I wouldn't know about PS3 games specifically, though.

If it's a videogame/movie-sized item, they will likely put it in a bubble mailer if it'll fit in there without much issue.

Sometimes, they will pack it in a cardboard vacuum-sealed mailer or a cardboard box when shipping it on its own, though that's more the exception than the rule these days.

One way to do insure it comes in a box is to order something they would have to ship in a box as well as the video game item you're looking to buy.   Or order more than one game in the same order and that should force them to put it in a non-bubble mailer package.
