Update 2: Quick Picks are back!

Update:
It seems to be technical difficulties and not the complete removal of our lovely Quick Picks.
We apologize about the missing personalized deals, aka Quick Picks. The service that provides the personalized deals is having issues and we are working on it and are trying to restore the deals as soon as possible.
Original Post:
So, it's been a couple of days that I've up and lost any and all quick picks. It seems other people are voicing the same problems over at Amazon while some say they got them back after a few days. My question is will Amazon faze this out or am I just crying wolf?

I just noticed that mine are missing too, oh well I never bought anything from them, and even so, it was only like 1 dollar off 99% of the time

I no longer see it either - I sent an e-mail to Amazon. Hopefully, they will bring this back.

As to the most recent reply, you're right about the discount not being a very high percent, but the quick pick offers are based on your purchase history (which you can influence by going through your recommendations and clicking the box of what you already own and what you're not interested in). Once you have done this, the discounts are pretty much the only things you have remaining in your recommendations that you want. So for instance, if you have a flat screen TV in your recommendations, then you will get 5% off of that, which is pretty significant.

Yeah. And leading up to this, I was not seeing as many items in the Quick Picks as I use to. I am big supporter of Amazon's, but it seems like they just continue to take away the little things that, on their own aren't that important, but combined were what made them one of the best companies to deal with.

Yeah this sucks. It works great for when I pre-order stuff anyways. If they are worried about saving on pre-orders then they should just do away with the ability to put it on pre-orders.

Doesn't matter because I have a amazon rewards credit card, and till I can see something better as far as rewards go, that will continue to be my main credit card and obviously I'll still be buying stuff from them.

the quick picks were nice to have around even though I didn't really buy much of the products in my quick picks page. I hope they do come back they had some decent deals.

seems like they're gone... possibly for good. amazon has been responding to customer emails with a boilerplate response akin to "oh, sometimes we test features on our site" blah blah blah.

i find it strange there's been no official announcement over this. yet.

This sucks ass. I'd bought a lot of my stuff from Quick Picks lately. A penny saved is a penny earned IMO. With all the BS Amazon is doing I probably won't renew my subscription to Prime.

I'm disappointed, but I realize I've never actually bought anything through the feature. I do regret not buying Paper Mario GCN that day they had it on sale for $12 and then it also showed up in my quick picks, so it was like $10. Lately the deals I had been getting were sucktacular. Like I used Amazon to buy some issues of Umbrella Academy, a comic that just happens to be written by the lead singer of My Chemical Romance, and Amazon decided that means I'd also love to own every single item Paramore has ever put out. It took me like 20 minutes of searching through all of my recomendations to find all that stuff and delete it. Very rarely did I ever get offered deals on games in the last 2 months no matter how much I widdled down my recomendations list.

I'm not that concerned about losing this. And I wasn't overly concerned about losing price guarantees, either. But the two combined, while also considering the way they went about not really announcing their removals, it kind of is turning off of Amazon. And I am a big Amazon shopper. I just don't like where this series of events is possibly going.

It's an announcement on there that they're trying to bring it back. Good 'ol tech difficulties!

I'm glad they're back. Banjo-Kazooie was in my gold box for $35 yesterday and I finally pulled the trigger since I'm planning on getting the XBLA game anyway. Might as well get it for free with the game.

My quick picks are gone again... :whistle2:|

Anybody else lose theirs?
Still have mine.
Same here. I noticed mine randomly ranges from 1-9, so maybe you just got unlucky and rolled a 0.

I see... I didn't know they did this. I have noticed a smaller and smaller list though. I had 6 a few days ago, 4 on Friday, 2 yesterday and... zero today I guess.
Are quick picks the deals in the box on the Goldbox page called Best Deals or is quick picks something else altoghter.
It's on the same page as the Goldbox stuff, like in the middle of the page.
