Hi guys,

Was wondering if anyone could lend some advice or tips on buying a Android tablet, my max budget is around $150. I'm mostly going to use it to browse the internet, play games and watch tv shows and movies(strictly a media device) and I've found a tablet I'm thinking about buying. I do require use of the Play Store so I can have access to games and apps and I require Android 4.0 and expandable memory.

Onda v711 $125.99 or Onda v712 $143.99

CPU: A9 Dual-Core 1.5 Ghz
GPU: Mali-400
Display: 5-point capacitive 1024 x 600 IPS (1280 x 800 Onda v712)
OS: Android 4.0 w/ Flash 10.2
RAM: 1 GB
HDD: 8 GB w/ Micro SD slot 32 GB

Anyone have any experience with Onda? Or dealing with TOMTOP, BUYSKU.com or Onda-Sale.com?

I plan on buying it tonight when I get paid, I would definitely consider any opinions offered!

I don't know much about that one, but have you considered a major brand tablet like the Kindle Fire, or Nook Tablet? Those are around the same price range and they do pretty much everything you want to do out the box

Another option for a straight up Android tablet is the Galaxy Tab 2 which is $179 on Amazon. It has a 4 star avg. with 604 reviews posted. I know it's a little more than your budget but it may be worth the extra in the long-run

I've looked at them but the Kindle doesn't have memory expansion and I don't want to rely on the Amazon cloud for my content. Also neither provide similar specs to the v711 and they also cannot access the Google Play Store.

I've looked at the Galaxy Tab 2 but I sadly can't get away with spending $180 on a tablet, If I could I would definitely go for the Galaxy Tab 2.

Thanks for the suggestions and quick response. :bouncy:
