Animal Crossing

Heh, coolest or most amusing. I have a nice row of Manekin Pis all with different bonzai trees in front of them. The Bonfire is nice too, mostly because it's a large fire, and well, fire is cool. Best interactive would be the Mouth of Truth, I just get a kick out of the reaction once in a while.

Nook was selling the master sword the other day in my town. I added it to the Island house that contains all the NP Mario items and any NES games that could be dropped outside of my actual house.

I wish Nintendo would hurry up and release the codes for LoZ and SMB or create a new series of cards. I need to find an Ice Climbers card somewhere too.

I think it's pretty lame that all of those things would be impossible to get without an Action Replay. I really don't think Nintendo plans on ever releasing a card for those games.

You know I still haven't picked this up. I really want to grab a copy but just can't seem to find the strength to do so. Maybe I need a good sale to give me that little nudge over to the other side.

This game had my attention for almost 3 straight months. My fiancee and I both played it every single day. But now we play it maybe 3 times a month. It got old. I felt ripped off about the NES games too. But I'll say this about it, any game that gets 3 straight months of enjoyment from me is worth the $30 I spent on it. (I wish Best Buy had the GGC when I bought it).

I'm with you on that, was hoping to find one at a Target Clearance but have yet to see any.

Well I rented it this weekend. I had some fun with it but it did seem rather repetitive. I have only played for two days though. My wife really enjoyed it though and insisted that I buy it. I have not found any NES games yet and that is the only reason I could see paying for it myself. I guess for $25 after the Gamers card and it includes the $10 small memory card it isn't that bad of a deal.

The game is strange nothing else really like it out there. It's simple but somehow addicting. The strange thing about the game is that there are special events on certain days. Like on the 24th at 7pm something special will be forsale. I guess if you get hooked bad enough you will miss real life meetings to be available at a certain to play the game.

The game would be more enjoyable if it were multiplayer at the same time. I guess I could see this game expanded upon to be Really good.

I bought a memory card off eBay with a character that had every NES game on it (including LoZ). It also had a complete catalog, so every item was available. Pretty sweet, and I'd highly recommend this game.

i saw it at target in Brooklyn for 19.** with memory card last month but i was broke shouild picked it up

[quote name='Kanigit']You should try http://www.projecthyrule.com. You create a town called Hyrule, and a player named Link. Then you can use the codes on this site to get any item.

Cool. Ha, funny coincidence, I named my town Hyrule, and I got the game the first day it came out (pre-ordered). Animal Crossing is NOT an aquired taste. You love it or hate it. I completly and totally love it. Its unlike anything else I've ever played.

It's hard to choose. Probably the Manekin Pis and the Tiger Bobblehead! Both from Gulliver. I love that little bobblehead.... :)

My town is also Hyrule, but my character is Wolfe and my wife is Katt. We used to play it constantly, but well, we move on. It surely was fun and worth it since that is all we did, fight over who would play it. The coolest item I got was Wario Woods. I forgot the code, but it was nice since it was the only NES game that comes in there that I hadn't played.

I played it for a while, but like a few other people I got tired of it after a while.

When my grandma bought a gamecube I let her borrow all of my games (the ones I wasn't playing anyway) and she has played AC for at least 3 hours every day since then. That was back in August.

Its gotten to the point now where I dread going over there because I just know she's gonna ask me to play it so I can see the stuff she's got.

Edit: oh yeah, I think the coolest item I've seen so far has been the mystery gift. I got it from a code over on GameFAQs and its just basically a bugged item that looks like a present. You can't do anything with it so its just sitting on the ground somewhere now.

Yeah it's such a great game, but after awhile it's just too much to keep up with. I stopped playing after I paid off all my debts.

That's cool that your grandma owns a cube! I could never picture my grandma or even my parents, aunts, uncles, etc playing!

My grandmother bought a SNES! She played Mario World and Wheel of Fortune ALL THE TIME!

It seems normal to me, but then again she's always be interested in whatever game I happened to be playing at the time. Especially if its an RPG of some sort.

Over the years she's owned: NES, GameBoy, Genesis, and GC. Not to mention all of the times I brought my SNES over :).

I just wish I had more of an advanced warning on her getting a GC, in the end I think she would have been happier with a PS2 just because the GC is lacking in the traditional RPG department. Unfortunately arthritis and age stops her from being able to play most Action RPGs (Wind Waker, FF:CC).
