Anon has declared war - on $cientology!!!

PlumesPixie

CAGiversary!
Don't know if anyone cares but a bunch of Anon have started Project Chanology...

Its a concentrated attack on Scientology.

Just doing my /b/est to spread the word!

I do like this quote at least:

So you want to join Project Chanology eh? Fight the good fight for the Internet? Or perhaps you are a skeptic, doubtful we can do anything? I won't lie to you. I am an /i/nsurgent first, a /b/tard second, and an all around Anonymous, but I know that for a fight against the Beast it will take more then possible even every chan combined could muster. We might be rivals; hell, we might hate each other's guts, but this goes beyond just us. The people of the Internet, Anonymous, the Goons of SA, the YTMNDers, various hacker groups, trolls of the world, the GameFAQs members, the Gaians, the eBaumers; us old time Internet users, and the newest of noobs, the YouTubers and MySpacers, must band together for a fight that transcends our differences and takes us to a level beyond our individual selves. When things happen to Scientology, like that South Park episode or Tom Cruise going insane on Oprah's show, Scientology loses lots of credential. We need to finish that off, or leave it open for the major media to deliver the coup-de-grace.

Don't really care for anon. Pretty pointless. Just set the mediadefender-defenders on them. That'll do the job.

What word? Didn't know the crusade was "on" at this time? I'm still grappling with the fact that we're going to be bowing east 3 times per day when Hillary gets in.

Now the erradication of scientology is "on". Western Civ. still does have a chance (maybe just one).

They're winning the wars against good taste, class, and humor. Why would they spread their resources so thin by adding yet another battle to the mix?

Quite stupid, indeed.

Yes, shutting down a website for 30 minutes really means Scientology is taking a huge blow.

No, it actually means that 4chan can get sued and closed down, you stupid $$$$$$s ( directed to 4chan users who support this ).

I knew it was only a matter of time before a person in /i/ started something like this. I tend to stay out of there.

Because this is totally the first time __chan has invaded something.

No, it isn't. I didn't make this point very clear, but Scientology has been quite spiteful to detractors in the past.

Well, at least it's getting interesting

It seems the scientology website is getting hammered again and the same for several other domains.

Oh snap, now it's getting interesting. Go check out digg or reddit or TPB or any number of sites. The anons are starting to put up the secret dox of scientology. Gonna make for an interesting read.

Here's the links. Hopefully this isn't against the rules on CAG. If it is, then I'll remove the links. Just send me a PM:

http://thepiratebay.org/tor/3992707

The RAR/Scientology info is spreading like wildfire through the nets right now and you can find it on any number of the file sites (i.e. rapidshare, zshare, etc.) Mirrors are out there in case they try and take it down.

By the way, if you get the stuff than check out the ludicrous ascertations they make on radiation. They think they can cure the world of pollution or a person from pollution (I can't really understand what they're trying to say), and cure a person of radiation poisoning.

Oh and if you care to be informed check this out:
yeah, a friend of mine sent me that a couple of hours ago. Probably dig into it sometime later today
I thought it would have been on CAG in this thread, and as we're suppsoed to disseminate (sp) this info, I updated the thread. Print out some of the stuff, it makes for good bathroom reading or at least toilet paper.

On one side, i worry about any crusade that tries to take down an organization that it disagrees with.

Then again, Scientology really is a bunch of BS, derived from Science Fiction.

Well, at least the Christians are safe! ... wait ...

I made a thread about that video. It really kicks ass. I love Jerry's laugh in it. He mimics Tom Cruise quite well.
Well they are many, not demons, but still.
Haha, the video reminded me of "Fight Club" more then anything else.

I'm sure I will get flamed for this, but turning water into wine and a virgin birth is just as crazy as curing people from radiation poisoning or e-meters.

A dude wrote the book of scientology.
A bunch of dudes wrote the bible.

Someone please tell me the difference??

I'm not sure the people who founded Christianity did it expressly to make a buck. It's possible, but it's a damn sight less blatant.

I'm also not sure what's more pathetic: Scientology or Anon.

Who said that anon is composed of Christians?

It's like rooting for a band of gutsy flashy arthouse bastard thieves to destroy a bunch of depraved mobsters...

That may be true, but do you judge religions and ideologies by the intent of their founders?

By that standard communism is a wonderful system of government.

Anonymous is virtuous and justified in moral judgment, as anonymous has no morals.

nah, but it's good to see 4chan being productive every once in a while. Love it when they bust pedophiles (counter intuitive, I know, but it really has happened a couple times.)

also, NBC picked up the story:

am I the only one lolling when they call anonymous a "group of hackers"? I mean, yes, technically, it is a bunch of people using DDoS software, but NBC (and Fox before it) makes 4chan sound...*gasp*...organized.

I don't know about all that stuff, but you do know that Christianity was based off the Hebrew bible which didn't cost anyone to study.
Well...Excuse my E-Illiteracy...But what is 4chan?
4chan, and the various chans in general, are the backwaters of the internet where several different groups of people congregate. Hackers, script-kids, etc. That's the basic gist of it.

Eh, like I said earlier, this is getting to be pretty interesting. They've managed to take down pretty much every single major scientology website from nearly each country's domain. The Uk, american/general site, French, etc. have all gone down. Also, several others like scientology wedding or something like that are off.

They also seem to be google bombing them and taking down their number one status on the google search results. Their website will probably be linked to dangerous cult in no time thanks to anon.

Anons doing an actual IRL raid on the the NY center:

Pretty funny how the scientologists attempt to try and stop their handing out the papers. Isn't that against the constitution's clause on freedom of assembly? Anyway, they keep trying to suppress these kids from handing out papers, and claim that all the internet material is wrong, but the guy/scientologist in the video doesn't seem to have any clue how a fiction writer did A) research about scientology or B) where it comes from and why. I don't understand why they just aren't more open about the religion (if they want to call it that) and be more forthcoming on the details. Whose it going to hurt if they are more open about what it is they do or study or whatever the want to say about their cult. They keep backpedaling and refuting claims, but never come across with any "facts" about their religion.

Anyway, the only reason I bring this video up is because today on my way to work and other things, I noticed a lot of people picketing the center here in town. I practically spit out the coffee I was drinking laughing so hard. I doubt I'll be hearing about it on the news or anywhere though. i wish I had a video camera. I guess Anon does work for certain things.

This kinda reminds me of that thread someone posted a while back about The kid who ripped someone off and basically fucked up his life, getting him fired from his job and getting his name registered as a sexual offender...over a pair of sneakers.

The internet is some Serious Bizzness
