Posted by Joe Brooks Another online scandal is brewing, and this time it’s puntastic! It seems Congressman Anthony Weiner may accidentally tweeted to his faithful Weiner-manics a photo of his own, thankfully clothed, wiener.
The New York Congressman quickly deleted the tweet, but not before followers were able to click on the link to the yfrog image showing a male in grey boxes with an erect penis. After a short time the Twitter account belonging to a young lady and the yfrog image were also deleted. Weiner then tried to make light of the possible mistake by claiming his Facebook account was hacked:
Read the link for more. It's not an objective source. And the original 'scoop' is from a Breitbart site, so take it with a boulder of salt. His twitter/fb accounts were apparently hacked, so it may not even be him.

Weiner has handled this horribly. He should have done a few initial interviews where he said it was not him and then refused to answer anymore questions about it or just said it wasnt me, next question then walked away from any interviewer that continued. Instead he has taken constant interviews where he has been visibly angry and given horrible metaphors.

Really this whole thing is just incredibly stupid since even if it was him it was a girl of legal age and he did not run on family values that I am aware of. That stated any wrong doing was done as a man not as a congressmen.

I haven't watched the daily show lately, but I know there is no way Stewart has left this alone, even with him and Weiner being friends.

Yeah he has covered it both days he was on this week. The first day he defended him and made a lot of jokes about how as his friend he knows it was not him because of the size of the dudes dong. Jokes like "I remember a lot more Anthony and a lot less Weiner". He then lambasted the press for making things a scandal as usual without doing any real investigative reporting. He pointed out how numerous blogs had did some basic research and found numerous facts pointing out its probably not him that posted the pic.

The second day though he made fun of Wiener himself and how he has handled this horribly.

Best joke so far - The only thing that picture has in common with my friend Anthony is that they both hang to the hard left!

This couldn't have happened to someone with a more fitting last name. Short of someone being called Anthony Postshisdickonline.

Well if he was attacked then chances are fair that it was part of why they choose the pic they did. I mean they could have chose to make a racist statement or any other number of controversial posts. But a wang bulging in a pair of undies....it was just obvious!

Apparently some pornstar (Gina Lee?) is a twitter follower of this guy and given some of her statements, the current right wing conspiracy is that it was supposed to be a private picture to her but accidently went out on twitter.

And they say I waste my time...

Yeah he gives hope to every average looking guy out there. Of course who knows, maybe he has something we're unaware of...

Maybe the pic Weiner twittered was of Kucinich!

Turns out it wasn't a vast right wing conspiracy.

Anyway, don't care that he was getting his jollies off. I can't wait for half of MSNBC's lineup to eat some major crow, though.

Yeah just heard the confession. A great way to waste time and resources investigating the "hacking..."

He didn't have an investigation regarding the hacking. That's one of the things that Breitbart and Fox were saying all along.

I didn't mean like a CIA probing. I meant any sort of fact-finding about who could have/would have hacked his account, whether media or government agency. People were delving into a story that was basically an unintended hoax.
So when this happens in the future, one could say they pulled a Weiner.
I hope so. Something needs to replace -gate for political scandals.

You suck at this. Instead, they should say they busted a Weiner.

U R LAMEzZ
Also, I'm recording Daily Show tonight.
Oh, cock... I knew there was something I forgot to do...

Seriously. "Weinergate" Sounds like a crazy old man's euphemism for "vagina".

That, or the worst Stargate spin-off ever.
