The real story here is that murder in the abortion debate only makes mainstream news headlines when a proponent is the victim.

NYT is mainstream, yes, but this hasn't received nearly the coverage as the last time a doctor was murdered.

Not to steal any of your assuredly important thunder, but it seems the man wasn't killed by a guy who was out to knock off pro-lifers. He was out to kill everyone that pissed him off and this guy just happened to be one. He wasn't actually killed for his opinion per se. Said nut case then killed some manager of a store before going to get a real estate agent and being stopped. This is obviously shitty that this guy got capped off, but this is different than being killed simply because you are performing a legal medical procedure. Both killers are nuts, but one did it for ideology (and therefore terrorism, no?) and one did it for pure old fashioned crazy.

Do you not see the difference?
