Anti-Deal: No More Trade-Ins At Best Buy & Wal-Mart?

Wal-mart? No. I've never seen one. Actually, I thought "Wal-mart takes in used games?" when I saw the post.

But Best Buy I have seen before. I don't have one near me, but they did offer trade-ins at the one I went to. But what's interesting that if Best Buy stops accepting trade-ins, will Future Shop? They are basically the same thing.

If I'm not mistaken, most Best Buy in the Montreal region sells used game. Walmart, really doubt it. From the article, it really seems to be specific to the US. They talk about kiosks. Best Buy doesn't use any kiosk for buying used games.

GAH. after actually READING the link, they're abandoning the automated kiosks for game trading. total misinformation.

This.

Awesome. I posted this for nothing basically. Sorry about that.

Never seen any of the auto-kiosk things. Best Buys around here take them, I've never bothered looking for any actual used games there, I normally only buy games from BB or FS when they have the 39.96 deals matching Wal-Mart. And that's only because I hate going to WM.

The two Best Buys I go to whenever I go to Whitby sells used games. Haven't seen a WM sell used games tho.

Can't say I'm sad to see used games go in BB cause I never bought a used game there.

I've never seen used games at Walmart, but I did see used DVDs there. I also noticed a DVD trade-in promo at HMV, so I wonder if they will move into used games also....?

I know that BB Canada does trade-in in some areas, but are there any Canadian Wal-Marts that do trade-ins?
