i am going to be in Tokyo from the 20th to the 25th of November. Any suggestions on sightseeing, museums, or gaming locations from people who know about Tokyo, have been to Tokyo, or live in Tokyo (CheapyD, perhaps)?

Here's what I'd do.

-Check out landscapes ( I have no idea if there are any in Tokyo or not ).
- Eat as much Japanese food as I can.
-Possibly go see Sumo and things of the like.
-Definately go to an arcade.

Sucks that I don't have any specific suggestions ( actual places ). I now feel like an ass.

XD

actually, whenever i go to a foreign country, i always go to a McDonalds just to see the prices of a Big Mac. You can tell the strength of the U.S. dollar just by this "Big Mac Index."
I heard from a coworker it's ez to get laid there as long as you speak english, feel free to confirm.
Confirm'd. But only if slutty girls are your type.

I came to see what advise you would get and after Alcedes' post was an ad for dating asian girls...I dont think it coincidence...you are destined to get some in Japan

- Yodobashi Camera in Akihabara. That fucking place is MECCA for geeks man. I loved every minute of it even though I left very overwhelmed. It makes Fry's Electronics and Microcenter look like Radio Shack.

- Super Potato in Akihabara. Probably the best place to get old school video game hardware and software in Japan. I'm pissed that I couldn't bring home a White Sega Saturn from there. I had too much to carry already!

- Gas Panic in Roponggi (sp?) - I've never been there personally but I have heard some crazy stories about the action we Gaijin can get there. Just bring a condom and don't look at their teeth.

Man, thinking about my January trip to Tokyo is really making me nostalgic. I really want to go back with my wife this time.
