My cousin has an apartment right around the corner where David Letterman shoots his show. But there is no way she is gonna let a stranger stay in her place for that long.

i used to live near nyc and i don't know if i would just let someone stay in my place for a week...... a day or two? Maybe. A week? Fughediaboutit.

Hostels, dude. They're super cheap. There's one near 34th and MSG. Puts you right in the middle of things, just a block away from Penn Station.

Why are you going to NY if you're such a cheapass? Isn't that counterproductive considering NY is one of the most expensive places in the country?

Back in the olden days people used to pitch tent (not the perverted kind) in Central Park. You should consider that.
