I did a search and couldn't find anything posted about this since late October...

I'm looking for any deals that you all may know about for the Wizard of Oz 70th Anniversary Blu Ray. I'm talking about the collector's edition that comes with the watch, book, posters, etc.

It's for my mom, so I definitely want it new (so the gohastings.com CYBERMONDAY deal won't work) and I know about the $5 coupon on Target, but is that the best anyone has seen?

Also, it was down to $42.99 on Amazon.com for some reason yesterday. Unfortunately I didn't get it then because I thought it was a permanent drop by Amazon. Now, today, it's up to $54.49.

Can anyone help me out?

Try Wal-Mart.com. It's around the same price as Amazon, but if you use Bing Cashback it is 20% cashback.

You might also want to check the price on WBshop.com first though. There is usually a coupon or two that may help lower the price.
The Emerald Edition came out as a general availability release, which used to be a Target-only exclusive. It's a three-disc release, so it's missing the "extras" from the CE and the digital copy. You might want to look at that, unless you want all the extras in the CE.

This should give you the details about it:

It's $36.99 on Amazon right now.
Emerald Edition is supposed to include, in fact, all the extras of the Ridiculous Edition, without the fluff or "digital copy", whatever that is. Check the "Blu Ray Review" tab on your link, to confirm.

I bought this first thing in the morning on Black Friday, $12.99. I'd been drooling over the disc/width ratio of the Target-exclusive for weeks. I try to focus on minimizing shelf space without losing digital extras (I'm not talking about "digital copy" -- the BD is my "digital copy")

I was looking at the 3disc blu ray the regular version without the watch and stuff, but it didn't mention some of the features that are in the big box, like the 2 older Oz films does any one know if they are included on both sets.

Yes. The main difference in the 3 disc set and the UCE box set is this....

3 disc set= 2 blu-rays, plus 1 dbl sided "When the Lion Roars" docu dvd

UCE box set= whats listed above, plus collectors box(what the set comes in), watch, digital copy, collectors book, replica program book and replica production sheets.

Disc 1 has the main movie plus tons of extras.
Disc 2 has the older Oz films you are talking about plus other extras.
