As the title states, are there any good places I can find a cheap ass Game Boy player for the Gamecube? I've been trying to hunt down an SP with a brighter screen, but all this is too rich for my blood. I'm trying to go for anything less than 20 bucks if possible.

your best bet is doing the b2g1 free right now at ebgames/gamestop on used games/accessories/dvds. The gba player is $30 before discounts, but if you buy that, and a couple of used games(something like castlevania ds and super princess peach) you would be getting all 3 for $60, or $54 after the more card(additional 10% off) which puts the price at about $18 each.

that is my best suggestion.

Or you could simply wait a few months, i have a hunch once the WII comes out, then ALL of the gamecube accessories will get a decent price drop

I just sold mine for $54 + $7 Shipping on Ebay. They're worth mad moniez!

You might luck out on an ebay item. They were going for more but ebay is started to get flooded with them because of the demand and the change to the Wii.

Better yet you might scour K-marts, Sears, CompUSA, and TRU's to see if they have any left. They're the most likely of any stores to actually have one tucked away behind a glass case or something. But you'll still be paying full price.

You might have a better chance of finding a cheap SP than a GB Player.

i have both a ds and a ds lite, and an older gba advance. i mean ideally i'd want a new sp but i don't want to shell out big bucks cause it's not that urgent for me, ya know? i figured i'd find the gba player cheaper than a new sp but i guess not.

just play your gba games on your ds or ds lite? i dont understand why you want the gba player if you already have the ds and ds lite?
