CAGiversary!
Anything to save money... lol I'm primarily looking for like a free overnight shipping coupon code, but anything is good. Thanks in advance.

yea, im a madden fan too, but for that price, how can u pass it down? i mean if madden came out, what would you rather get? i think i would still get good play out of both.

Outpost.com is very reliable... but Im not sure about shipping speed as I have never ordered from them before.

I am also a Madden fan. I did buy ESPN this year and it is awesome. I just wish I had Xbox cause its even better for that.

I will still probably buy Madden this year... Madden is just one of my most looked forward to games each year. Although ESPN took some of the spotlight off of it this year.

if you get the EA Newsletter, you can use the 15 coupon and get it for 34.99. Dont know about shipping though.

also, if you want you can trade in 5 games to EB and get it for free, as every game (with exclusions) traded-in is at least 10. Note this is only for preorders.

Nah, I have PS2, I'm going to try that TOUCHDOWN password now. I have already signed up for the newsletter so I'll be expecting my 15 dollar code soon.... Thanks for the help guys. Anything else would be much appreciated.

Alright it is ground shipping. EA's newsletter still hasn't sent me a 15 dollar coupon code, anyone have one they're not using??

$10 for every trade-in? So if I have a $15 voucher and I trade 3 games, the price will be $5.99 + tax? Anyone know if this sounds right? That would be sweet.
why dont you get ESPN NFL 2k5 instead? its even better, and alot cheaper, its worth it for the price of 17.99
Its wierd that some people just wont buy ESPN even though it gets good reviews and cost $30 less then Madden. My brother is one of them, and he wont even think of picked up ESPN.

Yep, ESPN is a great game indeed. I picked it up the day it came out, and while it is no Madden. It's definitely worthy of a buy. Anyone who passes it up is a moron. I'll tell ya one thing though, I saw the game for 15 bucks and selling wildly at Wal-Mart yesterday. People were aware that it came out, but unaware that the retail price was 20 bucks. Therefore. these kids were like freaking out saying "Liek OMG teh game should be liek 50! Get it!11!!one!1!" I really wanted to tell them the real story, but I decided to let them be really happy for getting 5 dollars off the game and not 35. You have to think though, good sales for 2K5 means more competitive sports games for the future, so I hope both companies do really well.

I just bought Espn 2k5 and its good but only because its cheap. Some people say its going to be better than Madden, but I think if they were both 50 everyone would go for Madden. Still if you have no money its not a bad game. But what happens next year if sega raises it back to 50$. It cant be 20$ every year to compete with Madden.

I think SEGA is hoping to get a firm hold on the market this year by being so cheap. Once people play these games and like them, then they will raise the price back up to 50. THis is just a cheap and easy way to introduce people to the game.

My guess would be more like to $29.99 or $39.99

With the game coming out this week, I thought this thread needed a bit of a bump. Personally speaking, I'm planning on taking advantage of the 5-game trade-in for my Madden, but there's one thing I haven't seen pointed out yet:

EBGames.com: Code "GCMC" allows GameCube users to buy the Memory Card 1019 for half-price ($20) with the purchase of Madden '05.

Does anyone know if the B&M stores are offering the same deal? As one of the increasingly few people to buy Madden for the Cube, I'd like to work both deals. (Doesn't make up for no downloadable rosters, but it'd be a start.)
