Any Hori Hard Pouch Impressions Yet?

Jatsu

CAGiversary!
I'll be going on a long car trip in a few weeks, and I will need a suitable case for my DS to protect it. I'm trying to decide between Hori's Multi Pouch and Hard Pouch. I've read the reviews here for the Multi-Pouch, but have found nothing on the Hard Pouch yet. This is my thinking so far...

Multi-Pouch
The DS is stored in a seperate compartment from the games/accesories, so you can go straight to the DS at night when the car is dark, and the games could otherwise fall out of the case and be difficult to find in a loaded car at night.
From all the pictures I've seen it looks like it is a bit awkward to hold or shove into your luggage

Hard Pouch
Likely to be more protective of it being crushed by luggage falling on top of it, it being sat on, slept on, ect.
Easier, safer, and smoother to place in a backpack or luggage.

I'm concerned that the games can slip out of the pockets because they are not elastic or tight, and again that I could end up loosing games in the car if they fall out. However supposedly you can fit 2 games in each pocket which might prevent that from happening.

I take my Lite, in Multi Pouch, to work every day in my backback. Works great. I have 3 ALS cases I use to hold the games (so 9 games total, plus one in the Lite) instead of the individual pockets that are sewn into the case (search for my reviews and pics of those). The whole shebang works great, and is well protected enough for my needs.

I just received my Hard Pouch case this week and I'm happy with it. The DS sits in the bottom with a little bit of wiggle room, but it's a nice fit. Don't worry about the slots for the DS games, I turned the case upside down while open and gave it a shake and they didn't fall out. They tuck nicely behind the zipper so they aren't going to move while it's closed and unless you shake the hell out of it, they aren't going to fly out while it's open. There's enough room in the pocket behind the DS slots for a GBA game or two, but not much else, so you'll need to pack the AC adaptor elsewhere. Also, while it is a "hard" case, it's not a shell and it does flex a little, but not enough to cause concern for the contents inside (though the exterior may get scuffed and scratched a little easier)...

I bought a Hard Shell from Play-Asia for my little sister's DS Lite and from what I've seen of it, is about as perfect as it can get. It's pretty small and strong. The games do have some room to move in their pockets but as crazy as she is with it I have yet to see one fall out of it's slot completely while it was closed. No room for the charger though.
I think for $8 it's a great deal to make sure she doesn't destroy the Lite.

Exactly my setup as well, Hollow Man...with the 3 ALS cases stacked pyramid style in the back...Multi pouch is one of the best designed cases for any electronic device that I've ever owned.
