Any sites sell DVD inserts, cover art, box-set boxes?

I'm also looking for a similar site, mainly for slipcases/slipcovers for DVD's.. like the cardboard thing around the DVD, like the cover for Spider-Man 2, Lion King, etc.. i'm looking for quite a few, including Dawn of the Dead, so here's a free bump.

Sounds like you're doing a little bootlegging. :) and that it would be cheaper just to buy the dvd from the store that includes all this stuff.

I can see how somebody who buys used DVDs with a good disk but somewhat worn covers or bent box corners might want to 'restore' the DVD to it's mint condition.

Heck, sometimes I've purchased new DVDs, but the case and/or insert is really banged up, or has a long scratch or marr on it... not to mention the fun of "Oh, the plastic bit the DVD rests on is broken, so it rattled around and already got scratched up in the mail..."

Uh, or not. I want the cardboard slip covers because they don't sell them with used DVD's.

Agreed completely w/ Scorch.

That, and Hastings decided to print off covers of Elf to sell extra copies instead of selling the real case.

Notice the big 'Hastings' on the spine.. and lack of a bar code.

What's even sadder is that I know the site that this custom cover came from, and it's not cdcovers.cc, though it's probably being hosted there.

Not always the case sman. The artwork for the Region 1 release of "Millennium Season 2" is god aweful, therefore I like having the option of having alternate artwork available so I can print off my own cases and put the discs in those. :D

Plus I shaq fu hate the case that the "Halo 2 Limited Edition" came in... but we all have ranted on that enough so I'll shuddup.

Well, now that you say something i understand why you suspect something.
Im looking for a couple covers because i got the dvds used and it was disc only. Im also looking for a box set box beacuse an unexpected wrestling match in my room ended the life of my smallville season 3 box. Luckily i keep all the discs in a big binder and they were fine.

I take it theres no such thing though, since the combined minds of CAG couldnt come up with much.

thanks

Yeah I dont think it sounds fishy at all. Places like Hollywood Video and Blockbuster don't have DVD inserts when you buy them previously viewed.

seriously... in some cases you just want to customize your stuff[/quote]

For real. Like Japanese PS2 game covers, which rule all.

But yeah, if anyone wants to get rid of some newer slipcovers, let me know.

lol. so funny. And most Blockbuster i've ever been to sells DVDs in their original cases. I can totally understand customization. I am just saying there are more people out there looking for these sites because they pirate their dvds then there are those that customize or need replacements.

I'm looking for the slipcase to 'Pirates of the Caribbean.' Place i bought it from decided to put the price tag on the slipcase, removing the tag w/o damaging the box was futile ;_;

Right-o. I am sick of this anti-pirate bias...Argh...where's maddox when you need him.
