Any video editing program recommendations?

Hey guys,

I'm not looking for anything heavy duty at all, so I'm hoping a freeware/shareware program can get the job done. What I'd like to do is simply take two video files and combine them to make one larger video file. Again, nothing fancy just have the second file start exactly where the first file ends. Any suggestions?
Windows Movie Maker can do that. Unless you mean you want to combine them without converting to Windows Media.
That will be the issue with WMM. I think it will always want to reencode the output, which may result in a loss of quality.

With virtualdub, you can just splice the pieces together without reencoding (assuming that they use the same codec of course). Note that this is not the default behavior of virtualdub. You will have to tweak a setting or two (stream processing, I think). There are some good virtualdub tutorials around if you google it.
