anybody like metal arms more than halo?

i do. i feel it is better overall. i am sure halo2 will be better, as much time as bungie is taking but i find myself playing metal arms when i need my shooter fix.

Anyway, I like the multiplayer in Halo a great deal better than Metal Arms, even though MA has a lot more unique variety to it. The single player of MA is much more enjoyable than single-player Halo to me just because of the corny storyline it has.
 
yeah i forgot to mention that. halo's multiplayer is much better than ma's though ma's could have been 50 times better. and yeah sorry about the wrong board. wasn't thinking.
 
i just finally played halo about 6 months ago....wasnt nearly as good as i expected it to be....too much hype for such a short game....when i beat it....i didnt even know i beat it....i threw my joystick when i found out it was already over....cuz it was good....but definitely not the best game ever....anyways....i know ur worried about the joystick....so i picked it back up nice and gentle like...stroked it for a good 5 minutes telling it how much i loved it...and then put it away in my drawer so it wouldnt see me showing affection to my true baby...my ps2 controller
 
screw that. my xbox controller can be jealous till it pukes when i'm fondling my wavebird.
 
Why are we comparing a third person shooter to Halo again? Did I miss something here?

Halo's been out for three years, Metal Arm's just pushed past the six month mark. Halo was among the best during the Xbox launch, but that was a long time ago (in gaming years)... I give Halo the benefit of the doubt, a lot of innovation has happened since it's release and Metal Arms is proof of that. I expect Halo 2 to do what Halo did in terms of the praise that it will recieve. Metal Arms is amazing but because of Halo's god-like status and fanboy converts, this argument dosen't stand a chance. But then again, thats just what I think...

metal arms feels fun. than again, i consider it the multi-platform ratchet and clank (minus the ratchet).
 
I too feel Metal Arms is "fun"...It's a great game and I enjoy playing it, especially with my kids in multiplayer mode. Haven't finished the solo mode yet. It's on my to-do-list.

Halo to me was intense. It was a very satisfying experience. A bit repetative at times and overwellming in others (library). It's one I'd play again (once I get through the other 5,000,000 games I just bought). Another fun one to play multiplayer on.

metal arms is much closer to first person than deus ex is diablo because diablo is top down. i just compared them because i'm not too fond of 3rd person shooters but metal arms was top notch.
