Star Wars Trilogy early ship?

Well it seems as though someone got his hands on an "early ship" of his pre-order. At last check this had gotten up to $187.50! Whoever gets it will only end up getting it a few days before the official release date. Is it worth it? Not to me....

Umm...no, I wish. The MSRP is actually like $60 or $70, though the first week most places will likely sell it between $40-50. FYE has a pre-order rebate deal that you can get it for $35, but I'd rather buy it outright on sale for $40 or so and save myself the trouble of sending in rebates.
 
Its crazy someone would pay that much. Im picking it up from BB because I have a $15 gift card from the Spiderman 2 rebate. Im going to wait.
 
eb has a deal running where you trade in like 3 DVDs and get the set for 35$ might be like 5 DVDs or something but still a decent deal so I say screw buying things for 500$ when you can get it soon enough for under 100$

I checked gamestop yesterday & they have a deal. Bring in 4 dvds & preorder the trilogy for $29.99. Not too bad :)
 
Unbelievable, it sold for $510! You could buy a whole lot of Star Wars shit plus the trilogy for that if you just wait. I can't think of anything I would want a few days early that I would pay upwards of 10x the MSRP....

gamestop has trade in 3 dvds and get it for 30, so do it there because i work there

what a ripoff..the set only retails for like 41 bucks or something and trading in 3 dvds gets you 11 bucks....gimme a break

Actually, MSRP is in the 60-70 range. For a place thats normally overpriced (sorry) its a good deal.
