Has anyone been chargedback and successfuly won the dispute?

I think they handle chargebacks very poorly. A few others and I were chargedback from one single fraudlent buyer via credit card through paypal. We all sent the goods in a timely fashion matter and than received a chargedback notice 2 months later. We all provided evidence of recipient, but of course, paypal still stand in favor for the chargebacks and leave the sellers in the dirt with nothing. Lazy punks. Thet should do a more thorough investigation (i.e. who the true holder of the card is, the recipients of the goods etc.) WTF???

I've never had a chargeback, but I can safely say PayPal doesn't give a fuck along as they get their cut... and I'd like to have a monkey.

Yeah...but I still HAVE to use paypal or I pretty much lose business...

Minnesota ;)

I haven't been chargedback yet. But I've heard of horror stories about it from others.

You mentioned you have evidence of receipt. Did you use tracking? I don't think a receipt of mailing is good enough for them.

Yeah some moron tried it once. Apparently he didn't notice the delivery confirmation sticker on the package when he tried to scam me.

I just looked up the DC # saw it had been delivered submitted that info to paypal and they ruled in my favor.

You have to remember though, I said "fraudulent buyer"; by that I mean someone made unauthorized charges to a CC in order to purchase items. It seems as though when these kinds of chargeback occurs, paypal don't give a darn about the seller and just give into the credit card company.

The tracking numbers given were tracking numbers by UPS.

Than what about the packages I mailed to the address that he/she put down?. I'm thinking it's one of the crook's neighbor who was also part of this. I searched up the buyer's last name on the whitepage but it couldn't find anything. What I did find was the buyer's last name just within a few blocks away from the address that that the packages were sent to. Don't know if that sounds suspicious to you, but it does to me....

I shipped two packages from to different post offices, and yet they some how got lost. It paypal automatically said they get money back, they wont even listen to me.I have tracking numbers and reciepts and yet its not enough evidence. Im giving up on paypal and boycotting them.

Oh well, paypal may be protecting their profits but they're not getting anymore customer satisfaction.

Finally! Google is introducing its own online payment. Hopefully this will force paypal to change its ethics or be forced out of profits.

I'm starting to hate paypal. I remember when there was no paypal. And all the sellers accepted Money Order/Cash and Checks were reserve for those with high feedback.
