When I click on "go to secure checkout" after selecting shipping options, the screen loads a stupid Elf popup ad, then goes to the next screen. Problem is, the next screen is just the usual side and top frames with no other content. Anyone else having this problem, or have any solutions?

Well their site refuses to even work for me, perhaps they are having techniquel problems, someone didn't pay thier internet protection money this month

I use IE. And it still isn't working today. fuck it. shop.mtv.com has it for only $2.12 more, and I have shopped there many times and they are reliable.

But it's MTV... They have a price on my head since I didn't vote...
MTV sucks, but their store doesn't. If you were around for their deal in late August, you wouldn't care about the MTV name.
Unfortunately, didn't have a CC at the time. Also, didn't care much for the deals. And I was mostly joking.

DDD.com has been plagued with glitches for quite a while now. One of my more funny instances with them was looking at the street dates for upcoming titles. All of them had a release date of August 9, 2002.

Isn't time travel ordering wonderful? :whistle2:s

Usually, DDD goes through this when they are prepping for their 20% off sale...............

HINT HINT

.............. and then throughout the duration.

You know what, from midnight to 1:30 am EST, it kept hassling me too. Actually, I did get in once, and typed in the discount code (NYTIMES or USATODAY for those too cheap to scroll back up) and it kept glitching up.

I knew it might be a problem til 1 am, since DDD is back in Illinois, which means one hour back- but at 12:30 am shouldn't have been a problem. That is, if they were actually activating the sale at midnight.

Then again, every time I did a search on CAG here too, it kept faulting out as well, saying "proxy" or "SQL server" problems.

Right now, the site is completely worthless. No matter what I do, I get an error message--I think I've seen a dozen different ones now.

I second that. Can't even get onto the site either.

I have everthing ready to go but everytime I go to checkout I get an error message. Also when I tried to find certain DVDs I would get an error message so I just was trying to buy the ones I coudl actually find on their site but they won't even let me do that. If they didn't have such cheap prices this would not be worth the hassle.

the trick to the sale is to order the day before the sale actualy starts. Usualy the code will work starting sometime after noon the day before, and you can order then therefore skipping the bogged down server the next day.
