I know it's Christmas and everyone is getting caught up in the spirit but i refuse to pay inflated prices just because it's the holiday season. I got my kids a few gifts and thats about it. I can't help but notice the lack of deals lately.

Other than the usual black friday crap, stores have been counting more on the fact that people are going to buy no matter what. Now me, i can wait til after xmas for to pick up the games, lcd television and laptop i have been wanting.

No matter where you look (Gamestop, Craigslist...) There aren't many good deals to go after.

We got the Steam sale coming up tomorrow, and as my friend said above, the infamous GameFly sale the 22nd. I'm quite excited myself. Hoping the App Store drops some great games down as well, notably Lego Harry Potter, The 7th Guest, and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.

Now that the Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals are over, really it's pretty much slim pickings unless a store is specifically have a sale. Less than a week before Christmas is not really the time to be looking for deals, it is usually the time people do last minute shopping.

I always look forward to GF deals. I also expect GS to do a week long B2G1 sale like they do right after xmas and the LCD price drops that were supposed to happen already might finally be universal.

If memory serves correctly, the week after Christmas is usually, at the very least, decent.

It's not BF quality (then again, when is?) but it's still good. It's going to all depend on what you're looking for (TVs, games, etc) and whether companies sold them in a quantity that they find suitable.

I'm waiting to see what some companies have available next week. I'm probably not going to run out and get anything, but at least I hope to find something decent.

You won't see it happen till Mid January as usual if all the stock isn't cleaned out by then, from my experience here the deals don't start until stores start clearance and that doesn't happen until people have had a few weeks to spend their gift cards.
