Anyone else want an Impact Wrestling video game?

The last time they came out with a TNA game was back in 2008 and while the game had a lot of flaws they some some things right like great character models, smooth gameplay, good reversing system. If they improve on that with a much larger moves list, better story mode, 4-6 players instead of a max of 3, more match types and a better create a wrestler mode then they could have a great console game.I know recently jeremy borash talked about a new TNA wrestling game for the ipad but I think the majority of us TNA fans would prefer a console game instead. It would give THQ some competition which is always a good thing for us.

Here's a video as well as an article on http://wrestlinggamer.com about why they should come out with a new console title.

Time for an Impact Wrestling video game

I don't watch TNA and I haven't played the last game, so I don't have any opinions on a TNA game.

As for wrestling games though, I haven't played many in recent years except WWE All Stars, but I think I'd be happiest with a non-licensed HD AKI engine wrestling game. I say, have it be fully customizable by those in the community that want to do it and everyone else can just sit back and enjoy.

I no longer watch wresting but I am always on the lookout for a great wresting game. Those were my favorite games in the 90's and early 2000's. Since then, they have fallen off big time in my eyes.

I wish AKI would just put out a generic XBLA and PSN wrestling game with an updated No Mercy engine and full on customization sharing. Everything should be customizable. They can give us 10 generic wrestlers and 300 create a wrestler slots.

Guarantee that within a week people would have full on organizations recreated. O course we need custom soundtracks too.

Honestly, I felt the first Impact game had amazing potential. The biggest problem is it fell in the shadows of the WWE games. I do however think it is a game to play with friends and though the A.I. was a bit unforgiving at times, it had a good roster and good animations. They did release a game on the DS that wasn't too bad (I'll admit, I only played it because Mick Foley was in it) but it could have been better if they tried again with the current gen. I would like a new game mostly because it would have a great roster of characters you can't get anywhere else.
