only asking because I know for a fact that there is 1 whole case full of PSP at walmart and the bottom of the case full at Target. (was last week when I checked and others I have not checked)It was the same from launch and on. Haha I think it is funny that there are so many PSP here but Is there really a short-age ? There has to be aleast 30 psp I could buy if I wanted them. Maybe its just in CT.

IC just remember see that there was going to be a shortage but then I walk into walmart and target and they have about 20 - 30 a piece was funny. I was preorder ?? I guessing GS and EB are out as many people preorder out there. anyways still funny to see all those psp there.

Tons of 'em at the Best Buy I work at. On launch day I ran by Target in the evening and they hadn't sold a single one.

No one where I live has it really... whY? They all were dumb and when and bought Ipods,DS's and XBOX's wtih halo 2 and XBl... lots of spoiled kids where I live... can't wait till I get a PSP tho... alot of the kids are planning on getting them too... they just finnally ran outta money from their parents.

BB sold out, but it took several days. CC and Target have quite a few. Strange that DSs are still nearly impossible to find (not that I'd want one), yet PSP is so easy.

This is true, I rarely see DS' but there are plenty of PSPs to found at my Best Buy. A few have been returned and are $50 off.

We have an abundance of both PSP and DS at my CC. We're not even close to selling out and we probably never will be. Handheld systems are, IMO, pretty much only for the hardcore gamers. I don't think the PSP will ever get to mass market penetration. Good luck convincing Joe Six-Pack to spend $250 for a game system that has a screen smaller than his hand.

My newspaper along with yahoo.com said Sony was able to sell about 500,000 units out of the 1,000,000 available.

So minus the 450,000 units with dead-pixels that are currently being replaced, there should be about 50,000 somewhere ^_^

Some places are sold out. Some aren't. Since when is something supposed to sell out in order to be good.... theyve already sold like 600,000+ so......

They are everywhere here in Mobile...
nothing against the power of the PSP... I just dont want to spend 250 on a handheld system I wouldnt have much time to play... besides I have stacks of GBA games yet to be played

They're sold out everywhere here in Miami. It's odd, cause my CC had around 70 2 days ago and we sold out of them today. It appears it's the same at every store in south Florida. Good thing I bought mine this morning before they ran out.

Two weeks ago I didn't have any problems finding a PSP in stores, but I haven't been anywhere since then. If I go somewhere tomarrow I'll report what I find.

Well said neocisco. :applause:

Yeah, I saw them everywhere in MI. CostCo even had their two game bundle for about $320. I think it came with NBA and some other game....not sure...maybe WipeOut

Still tempted...I think my fiance my pick one up for me as a wedding present...but who knows....it's nothing that I really need.

Some of the lamest stores that shouldn't even be selling video games have this in stock. So Green Bay is busting at the seams with PSPs.
