I was wondering if anyone knows of any websites that have promotions/coupon codes for discounts on music cd's? Like sometimes buy.com has free shipping codes, or 10% off or whatever. Anything like that anyone know of? thanks

Best legal, consistent way I know of getting cheap music is

www.yourmusic.com.

Their selection isn't great, it's from BMG, but if they have what you want, it's the cheapest.
Sign up, create a 'music queue', they'll send you one disk from that queue each month, automatically, for 5.99/month, no tax, no shipping. You can also order things on -demand, for 5.99 a disk [multiCD sets are 5.99 disks, some CD/DVD combos are 11.98, some are 5.99--I just got Keiko Matsui's Walls of Akendora CD/DVd combo for 5.99.]

The CD's are just like the retail versions expect on or around the upc code it says "Manufactured under licence" in small letters. I can deal with that, when saving 63%.
