I'm looking to buy a mattress and I really like the firm Simmons classic mattresses but one salesman told me they're probllematic - company filed for bankruptcy, the individual coil system leads to sagging. Also read complaints online about sagging and the poor customer service.

Anyone have a Simmons Beautyrest mattress? For more than 5 years?
Not me but I reccomend tempurpedic.
Agree on this fully. I don't have any recurring aches or injuries, but when I house sat for my parents and slept on their memory foam mattress for a week, there was a slight difference of how I felt when I woke up everyday (a good thing).

You won't get the full experience by laying on it in a store for 30 seconds, but I would fully recommend one and I plan on buying one myself whenever I get a grownup job and make enough money to replace my bed... people have told me its uncomfortable.

I have a Simmons. Zero problems. They filed for bankruptcy back in 2009, but that has no impact on anything except reducing their debt, and allowing Simmons and Serta to remain independent entities so they can compete with each other.

If I had to do it all over again, due to my back injuries, I'd buy a tempurpedic. I'm actually thinking about ditching my bed just to buy one actually...

Kingsdown > Simmons.

Kingsdown is by far the most comfy bed I have been on. We replaced all our mattress to that.

As for Temperpedic, I can't stand those. My parents have it in two rooms at their house. I also wake up from it being so hard in the middle of the night and wake up in the morning with crinks in my neck.
