Although I'm French Canadian, but bi-lingual, I really prefer getting original cover than one that's translated. If you didn't know, every copy in Canada of Half Life 2 Orange Box for Xbox 360 is package with huge French text on the cover. The name of the game is translated to ''La Boite Orange''. Apparently this was sent to every retailers in Canada instead of just to Quebec.

My order at amazon.ca was pushed back to ship between the 8th and the 22 of november

Probably because of the cover. I tried to order from EBGames online, but it says that this item cannot be shipped internationally. I also looked at Play-asia and NCSX but it's not in stock yet.

I'm looking for a US website where I could order a 360 version that doesn't have ''La Boite Orange'' on the cover? One that can ships with USPS since UPS and Fedex are so expensive with customs fees.
Don't worry, you have no reason to fear the French. I mean hell, who has ever been afraid of the French.
Well, no, I'm not really scared of myself. That would be problematic. I'm a game collector so getting the original non-altered release is what I prefer.

I don't know what kind of crack pipe VALVe, EA, or whoever was smoking, but I was pretty baffled at La Boite O... The Orange Box packaging also.

I'm not a collector but I'd imagine it would proably be harder to trade this to an American with such an emphasis on the French copywrite.

As for getting it from the US with USPS shipping, try eStarland. Pretty sure their cheapest shipping methods use USPS, but might want to email them also.

Can they be trusted? Have you ever ordered from them?

Sadly I've only traded games to them and cashed out, haven't bought anything from them yet. (mostly since I don't like to get hit with duties) If you search eStarland in the forums many positive threads will show up, but not sure about any Canadian experiences.
you could always get an american CAG to buy it off amazon and mail it to you
I suppose I could, but this would add more time to shipping. But if eStarland are thrustable I'll probably go with them. Price and shipping seems allright.

Update: Well I just ordered. I hope that the shipping is not too slow and that they it gets here correctly. If i don't get customs fees, it will end up costing me less than buying it here.

I don't know why, but when I saw this thread it reminded me of a Simpsons episode where Homer couldn't build a grill.

"Le Grille?! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!?"

The PC version only has the English language printed on it...

Then again, I can only get Half-Life 2 to work on my computer for some reason, so that may not be the best solution.
