Trying to get pricing on a dvd set, out of curiosity, and three different EB's all told me the same thing - sorry, we don't give trade in prices over the phone, you'll have to bring it in.
Sure, that's what I want to do, drive 15 minutes just to wait in line, have them scan something, give me a trade in price, and then I leave. Hell, I don't even want to sell it to them, I just want to get a frame of reference on what the lowest possible offer is while I'm selling.
On the other hand, Gamestop gave it to me over the phone, and told me they could give three over the phone at one time. Why the discrepancy between the two stores then?
