Hey I saw some previews of this game and read the IGN review and it looks pretty good. I just wanted to know if anyone here has played it yet. I would download the demo, but can't thanks to dial-up.

I haven't played Swat4 yet, but I really disliked Swat3. But then again, the IGN review made me want the game a lot less - so I don't know how you'd like it.

I have never played any of them so that is why I was wondering. I use to love to play rogue spear back in the day on PC and was wondering if this anything like it. I know you don't kill people in this game, but is it similar.

I hate Rainbow Six but SWAT is different in a good way...Its a very fun game and the tension is always high since suspects and hostages spawn in different places each time u begin a mission. So it extends replayability. Online is the real meat and potatoes of this game. Playing co-op through the missions online is great and the online deathmatch is very fun. So i highly recommend it but if you dont plan on playing it online....you should reconsider the purchase

I installed the demo and will get around to playing it.

If you're interested in playing postage, I have a gaming demo disc I got in the mail with a magazine that has the Swat 4 demo on it. PM me.

I absolutely loved (hell, still love) SWAT 3, so I'm definitely going to pick up SWAT 4. But not until I find it for at least under $30. I am a CAG after all :)

I love Rainbow Six type games, and SWAT 4 demo was great. The way that all of the NPC's react differently almost every time you restart is pretty cool, and makes it a lot more realistic. I did not play multiplayer. As soon as this semester of law school is over, I will likely get SWAT 4 once it gets down to the $30 range. I might upgrade m 64mb video card too.

I've been playing it a few days now, it's like rainbow six 3 but much more polished (the release of RVS sucked so much ass on the PC, way to buggy). The AI handles every very well but theres been times they have done some pretty stupid things (like chucking a flash bang at a door with out opening it) they should get the kinks out with a patch soon enough so no big deal, all the high tech gadgets that you can use in this is great, like the helmet cam which lets you see what your team mates are seeing which is freaking cool if you want to enter a room with two doors at different entry points. The graphics are pretty cool too, it's running on the Unreal Engine and makes good use of it, every thing looks awesome and all the animations, movments are so fluid and life like it's watching an episode of cops. So if your into tactical realistic shooters, get it.

Been playing it since the release date off and on. Having some graphic issues (playing on a laptop) where I can see through doors and pop-up targets. Besides that so far it is intense, really like the single player modes where it is different every time.
