I don't have a LAN jack anywhere near my PS3/TV.

Has anyone played online games with wireless on their PS3?

I noticed with Lost Planet I got disconnected easily.

I just did CAG Warhawk last night over wireless. Didn't have a problem (at least none that was related to my wireless connection... Maybe wireless is why I can't fly worth shit).

And I was using a linksys router with OEM firmware.

I play on wireless, and it works great. Lost Planet is not the best yardstick for testing your connectivity, because it had server issues (that is why Capcom pulled the demo).

I hardly have problems with my Linksys wireless router, although it did disconnect once during a session with Burnout Paridise.

I always play with wireless and I have problems from time to time, but I think they're CoD4 problems and not my wireless router causing the issues. I could very easily go wired because I had a 360 where my PS3 is and there's a wired connection right there, I just haven't gotten around to trying it.

I go wireless. My PS3 is a 20gb so I use internet connection sharing with my laptop.I used to be abel to get NAT 2 through ics but now my firewall doesnt give me that option.I have linksys wrt150n router, too,it causes some problems.Even with linksys router and ics Im able to connect to other just fine.Try opening these ports on your router.

I'm using a Belkin router, and I've been wireless since day one. I've not had any connection problems. My ps3 is very close to the router... I could use the cord... but I've never felt the need to do so.

I play CoD4 over my wireless connection, and it works fine most of the time. If my connection is poor, resetting the PS3 and the router seems to do the trick.

Same here... I've never had any problems using my Belkin router. I love it. :)

I was using wireless until just the other day. I was having problems on COD4, so I hooked it up to the router (wired), and now everything is fine. Granted, that was the first time I'd had problems with it.

My house has an original airport base station and my ps3 is pretty far away (and on another floor) but I have had very few issues. The signal is weak every once in a while, but restarting the system fixed the problem on those few occasions.

im wireless all the time and theres no lag when playing most games online at my house atleast. the only time it kind of lags is when i'm at my parent's house (i get about 70-85% signal). Other than that it must be the servers for the games you're playing. I know a lot of people were complaining about Lost planet, i personally havent played it on the ps3 but same issue with cod4, if the servers suck you're bound to lag.

I use a Linksys router and play with my PS3 almost all the way across the house. Works just fine online, I have never had my connection dropped.

I only play wireless. I have some issues time to time with COD4 but i think that is someone else not me. I never had any issues with warhawk.

I use a Linksys router without any issues but i have a brand new D-Link in the box waiting for it to crap out on me.

I have a wireless Buffalo router with AOSS is an easy one button setup. It works with Wii,DS,PS3. Never had a problem.

I do everything wireless with my PS3 and hardly ever have a problem, if anything.

I have it hooked up to a D-link Gaming Router, that thing is awesome

I play with wireless all the time.

I have a buffalo router with custom firmware. I boosted the signal strength way up because my PS3 is about 60-70 feet away and across 3-4 walls apart.
