Anyone play Unreal Championship 2 on Live?

Been playing it quiet a bit was suprised how addicted I got to it.Had just started getting into Halo again and now I cant even touch the game because it just doesnt seem as good

Wondering how many players if any are out there from CAG so maybe we can get a game

just use your guns more then melee.I know everyone wants to use there swaaard but realisticly it sucks unless the other person is shooting rockets and hitting u directly.Use ya guns until u run outa ammo then break out the ugly stick to mop it up

Also if u are using your sword use the charge attack it uses adrenaline but it kills so much easier and most of the power ups arent to great right now anyway
 
True. I have been trying to stick to melee, since it is a "NEW" twist. That's why I get my ass kicked. I read this article on it and the developers said that the melee feature was going to be able to compete with guns, but, I still get my ass kicked.
 
I thought it was pretty piss-poor. Seemed way too glitchy to me. Maybe I'm not used to it, but I could not change weapons easily.....just seemed to be a mess

The current issue of OXM has a offline/online demo.
 
My first impression was ho hum. Very pretty, but not much more. The more time I spent though, the more intricacies I've found in the maps/moves/weapons... I've gotta say, I'm loving it now. Will probably buy. My only problem moving from Halo 2 to anything else at this point is matchmaking. I've been spoiled by Bungie. I freaking hate looking for rooms that are full, inviting friends, splitting up to find new rooms/start new games - rinse & repeat... I hope more future games take a queue from Halo 2.

i agree about the matchmaking...hopefully the full game will fix that problem...cuase that sucks

i know star wars battlefront has a good matchmaking system, just like halo 2....so maybe this is just something put in for the demo?
 
I just got my demo yesterday and have been playing around with it online and off. I'm pretty sloppy with most of the melee stuff and I'm trying to figure out what adrenaline combos work best in certain situations.

I've been a fan of the Unreal franchise from day 1, although multiplayer in the original Unreal was a joke due to bad netcode, but they fixed that with patches later on. There are people who still play (and prefer) the original to any other Unreal game.
 
Man, I thought I was sucking in Halo 2 lately. UC2 brings a whole new level of sucking to the table for my online gaming.

Yep, I suck at UC2 because the game sucks. Really I don't see how anyone can enjoy it. Do your self a favor and stay far away. Keep playing Halo.

I was thinking about gettin it also, I rented it and I also think it isnt that great.

The Uc2 Demo>Halo 2

No one being able to cheat and no lag>Halo 2s cheating and lagging
 
You do realize that this is a demo version. Any complaints should be saved for the final product when it is released in April.

I feel that this should be a great title but I will judge it on the final version on not some glitch riden demo.
