Sorry if this isn't the right forum, but it seemed to be the best fit I could come up with. I've found a "renewed" 27" Philips Faux Flat TV, model #27PT543S99 if that means anything to anyone, for $168 before tax directly from Philips. It seems like a pretty quality set with S-Video, Component, and Digital Combfiliter and at a price that's even less then a decent quality 20", which is what I was otherwise loking at buying. Are there any Philips owners out there, especially those who have used one of these Faux Flat sets, and what do you think about them and for gaming?

That sounds a lot like my TV.......I'm not exactly sure what you mean by Faux Flat TV, but mine is a 27 incher with all the inputs you listed.

I have all my consoles hooked up through S-Video or RCA and they all look great on my TV.

EDIT: 900th post! Whee!

I have a 30 inch widescreen thats a Philips that I absolutely love, so I highly recommend Philips...

Yep shippings included in the price, though it's before the 6% sales tax I'd have to pay. Faux Flat's the way they've termed it meaning the screen is in between a normal tv and one of the flat screen crts, so I guess maybe the outer part is rounded and the centers flat or something.

I used to use a 20" Philips TV, but eventually the cable input became loose and, if there was any disturbance in my house, from something banging on the ground to someone walking loudly, it would move and my picture would go straight to static. I think the problem was caused by my dad, though, when he was trying to unhook my Saturn back in the day, which had an RF adapter that was unusually tight.
