Attention Springfield CAGs!- Mall GS needs games!

This message is for Springfield MO CAGs- I know that you're in here somewhere...

This morning I did Gamestop's "Trade 3 games/movies/etc get extra $10" and made about $110 in old movies/games. This was at the Battlefield and Glenstone GS, by Barnes and Noble. The guy behind the counter kidded about not taking them, due to the fact he also manages the Gamestop IN the mall, and his store nevers gets any trade-ins. Everybody sees the B&N Gamestop and stops there with their trades, instead of going to the mall store. Consequently, that store is in the Top 10 in the chain for trade-ins. And this is something they encourage. I said I thought he'd be happy people pay him with cash. No.

Moral?

Never let a Gamestop/EBGames employee give you shit about your trade-ins. CORPORATE WANTS THEM.

Unless they triple or quadruple their prices I don't see the point.

The few times that I've, years ago, traded away video games, I've regretted it later on. Every single time. The only time I'll trade games away now are for trade in offers I can't refuse, like EB's 3-for-1 PSP offer, and only with games I buy specifically for trading. I turned some GameXchange credit into a few PSP games that way.

But thanks for the heads-up. Obviously these companies do want trade-ins in general, as it profits them more often than not.
 
please change the title thread to Springfield MO instead of Springfield, I'm from Springfield IL and there are lots of states with Springfield into it. Too bad Its not a deal near me lol.
