Auto Assault Limited Edition $19.99

Is this game any good? The game looked pretty interesting but reviews weren't too great. Goign to be hard to compete against World of Warcraft =/

Holy shit, that's an awesome price. Regular edition is $20, also. I just wish they sell Guild Wars for that much. :)

I may have to get this later this week, if it's still in stock.
does this game have a monthly fee ?
Yes. $30 for a 60-day card, probably less if you pre-pay for the year.

Damn, that didn't take long: AA is barely ten weeks old at this point. Reviews were decent, but not overwhelming. Still, if you've been dying for a post-apocalyptic Mad-Max-esque vehicle-centric combat MMOG, it's basically the only game in town.

All signs point to NC Soft being in trouble, at least in the U.S.: AA hasn't caught on (under 10K subscribers, I've read), CoH / CoV has topped off, and their Austin studio just laid off almost a quarter of their employees. Guild Wars has done quite well, but I can't imagine it alone can sustain them.

Wow, what a quick price drop. I ALMOST might consider this...although it would probably end up sitting on the shelf along with my other MMORPG LE box since I'm so worried about trying to play it at the right time to squeeze out all the hours I can from it before my subscription would be up. What does the LE have in it (Best Buy's ordering site is offline right now so it just goes to an error page).

AA is fun for the first 20 levels or so... then it goes downhill as you realize that there are about 10 other people playing your faction. Considering that it's only $20, if you have an extra twenty laying around and a couple of days to kill, I'd say go for it; it's an interesting game and the graphics are nice, at the very least.
