AZ DotW: Family Guy Laugh it Up Fuzzball (BD) 19.49

I would consider it. However one of the reviewers mentions that Two of the movies are in Full Screen. If so, NO thanks.

Family Guy was animated 4:3 until season 8.

Not only that, but the first film in the set is an upscale.

Would buy, but I just saw It's a Trap the other day and it was pretty shitty, which they warn you of before you watch it, but it ended up being a lot worse than I expected even with the warning.
Doesn't appear to be prime eligible. If it was I would have jumped on it.
yes it is...

I deleted my post I realized I wasn't signed into Amazon when I was looking at it.

Dang, nothing else I'm interested in at a decent price so I can get free S&H. :( Oh well, I'm pretty sure this won't be the first time this will go on sale.

For what it's worth the DVD version is only $16.49. This is actually a movie I would prefer to have on DVD (regardless of price) simply because I'd like to watch it on the go and even rip it to put on my phone. Not to mention BlueRay is kinda pointless on a cartoon.

Wow, you do know that BR shines the best on animation, right...? Look at animated and Pixar films. They are demo quality stuff, even surpassing the likes of Iron Man, Transformers, Band of Brothers, etc. Pixar films are hands down the best in BR quality.

You are absolutely right on the Pixar stuff, but I wouldn't put Family Guy's animation on the same level as Pixar.
I'm on the fence...

No way this Trilogy could get any cheaper? $6.50 per :br: movie sounds good
I wouldn't say no way it could get cheaper, though you might be waiting a while. I got the Something, Something, Something Dark Side blu-ray by itself on Black Friday from Wal-Mart for $5. Of course, that was an impulse buy, and was kinda dumb in hindsight because now it has me torn . . . I don't really want to buy this set because then I'm buying that disc twice, but Blue Harvest isn't available on blu-ray individually. (And yes, I know, upscale blah blah blah, but if I'm going to buy them I'd like to have a matching set.) Anyway, I think it will probably be cheaper eventually, though it may take a while and it may be YMMV when it happens.

What's funny to me is that with this sale, they're selling the It's a Trap! blu-ray for more individually than the entire set costs.

Gotcha...I see what u mean. I thought u meant all animation

Are these completely separate from the main Familiy Guy series or would they be showing up on the full season sets too? Just wondering if it's something like DCAU's "World's Finest," which was sold as a movie but also available as three episodes in the "Superman Volume 2" set.

No, these aren't included in the season sets.

This is a little off topic but I'll admit that the best looking movie I have yet to watch on my set was the Disney version of Tarzan. Something about the style of anymation they use just looks amazing on an HD set. And it's weird because it was just a standard DVD (run on an upscaling blue ray).

TrY one of the rereleased Disnet Blu-rays. Pinnochio, Sleeping Beauty, Bambi, etc. They are incredible!

(back on topic) how are the extras on the discs? If i buy something to keep I want to watch some good supplemental stuff. Specifically, im wondering about Jedi. Ill probably bite if there are decent extras or a commentary track.

Me and my friend were nerding out trying to shout the answers before they/each other did.
