[Back]Ping Pals ebgames.com 2.99 New!!!

Qty Product Name Each Total
1 King of Fighters 99 - Pre-Played $1.99 $1.99
3 Ping Pals $2.99 $8.97

Well, it's still 2.99. I don't know what xbox_mole is talking about (no offence). I'm sure this will be a good present for someone.
Too expensive
For a "game" that's totally useless, yes it is.

i saw it for 2.99 last week but i thought it was too expensive. when it hits 99 cents, ill give it some serious consideration

multiple copies is the only way to get use of this game. That way you can can hand the second copy to someone and say sit over there and let me message you!!

Ping Pals seems to have become the handheld version of Turok: Evolution in that any and everyone seems to be assuming it's hideous. Has anyone actually played the game? Is it really so bad that it's not worth being paid $2 by PriceGrabber to buy it?

The thing is, it's not really a game at all. It's simply a bells & whistles version of Nintendo's Pictochat.

the game is pathetic...so is pictochat unless ur using it in an area were actually speaking to someone isnt an option...I pity the people who actually use this to socialize...
man too bad this would hit 49 cents i would buy a ton of them to give away free to get more business
If you buy two of them at $2.99 each and apply for the $5 PriceGrabber rebate, it winds up costing you fifty cents each, still a penny over your limit. :D

Still overpriced...only way I would buy is if I could trade in at local VGS , sadly the name gives away how pathetic it is...
Had this product turned your DS into a Sidekick style messenger it would have been extremely useful...
It sucks. WE GET IT. Stop posting in this thread.

What the fuck are you talking about?

If you trade the game in at blockbuster you get 8 bucks and it is good for trade fodder when the trade 2 preorder for 30 comes back.

i work for the paper and its something extra i toss in to get new customers like that one xmas the ad said something like this

Get 26 weeks of the newspaper deliver to your door for 26.00 and if you act before xx/xx you will get Ncaa football FREE (there will be a 2.95 s&H fee) if you would be interested in getting 26 weeks of the paper + the free Ps2 game please send either a check or money order made out to the paper to this address,

I got around 40 new people that way. The game cost me 5 bucks out of pocket but we get clear around buck a week on paper so after 26 weeks i was coming out around 45 buck ahead. What is nice was most the people stayed on the route meaning more cash woo
... I think this game would have benefitted slightly with a name change, though it would appeal more to girls/homosexual men:

Pinga Pals

I just got Ping Pals. How much trade in credit can I get for this? I doubt this would sell on ebay so I might as well trade it in. You think FYE would give $10+ for it?

I know the EB trade-in credit for it is $3, but that's all I know. I checked the computers for myself since I plan on getting a DS (and now you get it free with a DS), so I figured it could be $3 to put on my 360 preorder.

I've got an idea, instead of giving it away eb can sell it for $30 new w/ a $50 mail-in-rebate and then they can refuse to honor the rebates... They could make some sweet $$$ of anyone stupid enough to fall for the old rebate trick...
How many CAGers actually bought one? I'm curious since it's dead.
I got one in hopes that FYE will give me some good $$$ for it. If not, I can just return it. I didn't lose anything on this deal (except tax)

I picked one up just to see how horrible it is. Trades in for more than I paid right now anyway, might hang on to it for any future trade-in deals that may come around. :3

The game sucks and ... so what?

Game Crazy is giving $6.25 in trade for it.

The cost is $3.70. So, you can "trade" GC store credit for 60 cents on the dollar.

When their B2G1F sale kicks in later this month, you can buy games for ~36 cents on the dollar with a MVP card.

Hmmm, here's a thought ...

Buy 10 Ping Pals & 1 crappy PS2 preplayed game for $37. Trade in GC for $62.50.

During the GC B2G1F sale, buy 6 Burnout 3s for $57.40 in store credit.

Resell each on eBay for $12.50.

Gross expenses: $37.

Gross sales: $75.

Leftovers: $5.26 in GC store credit and 1 crappy preplayed PS2 used to get free shipping on EB.

Net profit: $38

Profit percentage: 102.7%
Or you could get a job!
exactly what I thought when reading the post. a probable eight hours of running around, posting, shipping for 38 dollars ... and that's assuming everybody on ebay pays, finding the burnouts, etc. so what $4.50 an hour with finacial risk involved? No thanks.
