Moving to a new apartment, exwife has the great vacuum. I've grown to appreciate not changing messy bags, but I'm balking at actually having to drop a respectable chunk on a good machine. Any coupons/closeouts/sales/etc that I should know to be looking at?
Why you're right, I want to just move the dirt around and enjoy the aroma of it being schlupped up into my nose and mouth.
:applause: Better response than I couldve given.......................... not that it deserved one

The bagless ones just mean they go into a easier to empty tube...If I gave a shit about having a vacuum I'd probaly go bagless.

I second the Dyson. Thought the wife was nuts when she told me how much she wanted to spend on a vacuum, but it really does an amazing job. It is almost scary how much it will pick up even after using another vacuum first.

If you get a bagless pay attention to how the filters are and how much they cost to replace. You can get bagless vacuums starting at $60 or so. Go to a superstore (Meijer, walmart etc)

I say watch the filters cause some are in the dust bin. So when you go to empty it. You have to deal with a filter that needs to be cleaned as well that will just throw dust ever where.
