hi, before anyone asks there is no official list for this sale. every store will be completely different so quanity wil be ymmv but is happening nationwide in some fashion. its mostly to get rid of bargain books that arent selling and books that are just old and taking up space. that being said you can still find some great deals,
the local store here has four tables set up one for each dot and one for a flat 50% off. the dots are red 1.99 yellow 3.99 and green 5.99. happy hunting. there is some board games involved in this sale as well, mostly on the 50 percent table.

I think I remember this sale from several months ago. My local B&N didn't have too much in way of worthwhile books (mostly dreck, really) but the board game selection was beyond belief and the cookbooks were really worthwhile.

YMMV, indeed, but it's worth running to if you love your board games or are a bibliophile or whatnot.
 
Kapwani, that is correct. b and n does this after christmas as well. their two major clearances are always in mid january and june-july. this one just went up monday so the pickings are good right now. good luck
 
o.k. went back some of the board games on 50 percent are booktastic, othello(nfl and mlb versions) cranium hubabaloo, for the record, desperate housewives, and disney dominoes. these are just the ones at this store(iowa city), there could be more at your location. they actually have five tables up now. one for 50, and foru for dot books two at front and two near the mall entrance. anyone else get anything?
