CAGiversary!
Alright, I've had my PSP since around launch, and I freely admit that I don't play it too much. So, I finally have a 10-hour car trip coming up, and I was excited to actually get some use out of the thing... until yesterday. I was messing around with Monster Hunter, and the screen randomly went gray, with a battery symbol in the middle. It had been fully charged, and when I turned it back on, I was still at 67% battery life. Kept playing, encountered no more problems. Then I started playing Smackdown, and the exact same thing happened.
So, and I ask this because I don't have the manual handy (as in, 3 hours away not handy), so I don't have the slightest clue what the gray battery screen indicates. I assumed that my battery was dying... is that right?
If so, can anyone recommend a replacement battery that WON'T run me $40 (seriously, Sony, WTF?)?
Thanks!
(PS... and, if it's not too much trouble, a cheap reliable car adaptor
