So I've come to realize that even though everyone got a headset standard with their console, as is with the kinect many just don't use it (and by that I mean everyone).

So far, it's a quiet, lonely, and un cooperative world of BF4 for me, and I'm hoping to find some people to work together with, have fun and actually talk (seriously I haven't heard ONE person speak yet on that game).

Any CAGrs have BF4 for XBOne and wanna play? Drop your gamertag to me here or in pmsg!!

I feel your pain. I have been on XBL around 6 years. From what I remember, it's always been real social. I got rid of my PS4 because the community was such a drag. Picked up the xone, and I notice people rarely chat on it as well. Not sure why, but it sucks. It's hard to play team based games when no one communicates!

But anyway, I don't have BF4 on the xone yet. I had it on the ps3-ps4 and really enjoyed it. I heard a lot of xone users were having issues with BF4 so I have held off. Feel free to send me a friend request though. I currently have Forza 5, DR3, Ghosts, and an unopened copy of Madden 25 lol.

DONNIE IS 2FAST is my gamer tag.

I said this in another thread but party chat ruined live. If you're not in one you will not hear a peep from anyone most of the time. It's a shame really and sometimes I miss all the trash talking that used to go on in the good old days.

Id love to have more people to play Battlefield 4 online with, but it really does suck dick to play online. The Xbox one has no good online features and you can't really invite people to play the same game without going to squad deathmatch. So they really need to fix that shit before I can enjoy playing online like I used to in battlefield 3.

I would also consider that on the 360 many would use their high end headsets to chat while on the one the mic connection is proprietary. Sure it is possible to splice a connector or cable in but that would void the included headset warranty and would be a burden for many. Using the kinect mic would seem rude when there is much noise which is what a player may use a headset to isolate themselves from in the first place.

All these issues are not only xbox one related it's across all platforms except PC. I've put in about 50 hours into xbox360 and I've heard two people try to communicate and cordinate some type if tactics. Besides those few I do hear players with open mics but not speaking. As for grouping up there is no way unless you join a friends server and switch teams.

God wish I would have known half of this prior to purchase, should have got Ghost though I wanted something 'different' lol!

You can party up from the main menu before joining. I did it a few weeks ago when the servers were still crap. You have to open battlelog, go to friends, invite who you want, and then wait for it to say in party before searching. I don't know if it matters, but we were also in a Live party.

well, after a few more days of owning it, I'm actually glad I got this. Found a few people who actually use voice/cooperation and been tearing it up pretty nicely since, I guess it just takes some getting used to. I added all who posted their gamertags here. I also see a lot of people are getting BF4 from deals listed here on CAG which means more potential for a CAG Group to actually be!

If you have BF4 drop your gamertag here (xbox one)!

OK, so this is BS. I have been trying for over 30 minutes now to play and keep getting "You have lost connection to the EA servers" What gives? I should have listened to all of the issues so many people are reporting all over the EA forums. I have reset my router and modem and still get the same damn message. I will try a few more time and if nothing works, I will be packing this POS back to Gamestop.
