I am thinking about buying this game for PS3 and would like to know if there is still an active online community (for the PS3 version).
 
when I play it (several times a week 6-10pm central) I would guess my games are more than 85% full - but there is the rare occassion you'll be on a map and the team is vastly outnumbered. when that happens I just quit that map and launch it again and I get connected to a more balanced game.
 
Isn't BC2 coming out soon? You may see a massive drop in online play once that happens...

That said - I had great fun w/ the single-player campaign...
 
Bc2 drops in march if I remember right - plenty of time to get many hours played on it and you can usually find a great deal on it too
 
was playing last night seemed to be a fair amount of people and when it was unbalanced leaving and coming back usually rectified that.

I play every now and then, but I can say the community is very much alive. I went through a few rounds before posting this. I haven't played much since the Bad Company 2 beta which was quite addicting. Its hard to go back lol
