Battlefield Heroes is the first Play 4 Free game from EA. Create, customize and level up your own war unique hero. Then take them into battle against other players of your skill level. Use your special abilities to destroy the enemy, or support your friends.

We'll be giving away 100,000 beta keys in all, so if you get placed on the waitlist, expect to receive your key as we release more throughout the week. Our giveaway schedule is as follows:

RAM: 512 Mb (1Gb on Windows Vista)
Video Card: 64Mb DirectX compliant video card with at least pixel shader 2.0 support

Internet connection: 256kbit Cable/DSL connection

This is only for PC huh? Blast, I hope my PC can run this, I looked at the sys reqs at Wiki, and my system is a tad below those, so I'm hoping if I play on the lowest settings of everything, it'll play. *fingers crossed*
 
Im downloading the client right now, but it hangs at Server.zip, the status bar wont move...or does it just take a long time to download?
 
Thanks OP. Game is kind of buggy but its pretty fun. My only complaint is that the items purchased in the game store with Valor Points or Battlefunds last 1 month max.

cripes... buy a 200 dell and you'll most likely quadrupal that...

How'd you get the system to show your system specs and whether you qualified for each one? Is there a site for that?

EDIT: Nvm, found one. Is this decent enough for a PC?

Yea that's a good PC, and definitely play this game...haha.

As for me, I just went through and manually greened things that my computer matched up with the reqs, and redded things that my computer lacked in playing the game.

Thanks for the heads up OP! I had forgotten about this game, I saw a trailer awhile ago and thought it looked fun. Can't wait to try it!

I got a Dell Pentium 4 partially working from the Goodwill and fixed and now it runs as good as new.
 
This game is a lot of fun. The game isn't computer intensive either, I am running on 708 MB of RAM and it runs like a charm.
