BB Coupons 10% off 8/30-9/4

Weird that I received a bunch of coupons in the mail (10 and 12% off various items), but those aren't valid till the 1st. But they include games/music/movies, which I need to buy the Tick for 10% off.

Mine are the same ones. Just need to find something to buy...

I got the coupons in the mail as well. Bad timing for me as the only thing I want to buy is a Flat Panel 47" for the Family Room but I still have to pay off the TV for the bedroom. ($1200 left) so I won't get any use out of these.

worked out so so for me. Disgaea2 came out today but the 10% off is the same as the $5 off you could get with the gamer gift card.

they say 'off regular prices'.
So if I bought the Tick with one, it would be 29.99-10%, or the current sale price of 19.99 - 10%?

if it is like the GGC, it will work on the sale price(the GGC is not supposed to stack with any other offers, but if a game is on sale that week you can still use a GGC on it and it takes $5 off the sale price). I think you would get it for $17.99.

Thanks OP. I will use them. I didnt get an email from BB, I wonder why they didnt send me the coupons. It seems I got coupons from them more in the past than I did the last couple months. hmmmmmmmm

Nice... was thinking of getting some DVD boxsets like South Park Season 8, I'll print out that 10% one and go ahead and use it to save a few bucks.

Thanks OP!

THANKS OP!! i went and bought a Rewards Zone card today and got 12% off a 42" Samsung TV..that helped a lot..:bouncy:
you do know reward zone is supposed to become free soon? right?
seeing how i got the extra 2% off and 1400 Reward Zone Points by just using the card, it paid for itself..plus i had to have the card now to get that extra bit off

2% - $28
card - $10
1400 points = $40 certificate

40+28-10 = $58

$58 just by buying a card sounds like a good deal to me;)

well, I needed the card today to get the extra 2%, plus the card paid for itself

extra 2% off = $28
got 1380 points which turns into a certificate = $40
cost of card = $10

28+40-10 =$58

So I got $58 by spending $10 on that card, good deal eh?

Have anyone tried the coupon yet on new release DVDs? Did it scan without hassle? I might pick-up the LOTR rebadged collections if possible.

Do these BB coupons work with console games? I tried using one for a 360 game earlier this month and the register did not take it, and when the manager came over he said that Video Game software meant PC only games.

I could have sworn I've used one before on a console game.

Huh yeah I sure hope so and would be relying on that - I mean it mentions *computer software* and *video game software* separately...

think he was being a PITA...

The 10% one should work on 360 games but I don't know about the 12% one, I've been trying to see if I could find a description that would work, because if I could save 2% more on Dead Rising I'd like to.

That's BS, if anything I could see them arguing that PC games are not "video games", but not for console games. I'm glad to see so many people can use these coupons :)

I used the *Online* 10% off coupon that was emailed to customers on the Darkwing Duck and Talespin, both new releases on the dvd sets today with no problem.

The 10% off stacked with the 2/$40 deal on the pair, making both sets under $38 with tax.

This seems to be a GGC/sale price situation: the discount is taken off whatever the register scans the item at.
explain.
As of Sept. 17 or 18 they are making the reward zone free. However, they are bumping up the amount of money you need to spend before you get a gift card. It is supposed to be 250 and then you get 5 after the change that is.

I had the opposite result recently, where the clerk and manager argued that "video game software" did not include PC games. I went back later and asked another clerk, and he said sure and took it.

well at first glance i thought i was going to use the 14% to go pick up a 360.
but i dont see video game anythign listed under the selcted categories.

has anybody had any luck with that?

FYI: the 10%/12% coupons don't stack. Even though it explicitly says that they can't be used with other coupons, I thought I'd test the waters with the Gamer's gift coupon. It didn't work. Oh well, Condemned for $25 after the GGC isn't a bad deal at all.

fyi. i printed the coupon and cut it in half, taking in the bottom half with the barcodes and a list of excludsions.
worked on a 360 without any trouble, the cashier even checked it through a superior.
took it to $351

That actually worked? At my Best Buy they generally seem pretty knowledgable about what coupons work with what. Did you literally cut out the exclusions, or did you do that on the computer? I think they would be suspicious if half the coupon is missing, and there's just a strip with barcodes hanging down.

I used the 12% coupon on a Samsung 30" widescreen HDTV today. I didnt need a 60" or anything, the tv is for my gameroom and it will be perfect for that. Now to hook up my 15 systems to it using multiple switch boxes. Cant wait to see games in high resolution.
