BEAWARE Dell are liars

CAGiversary!
Firstly, dell cancelled my order and issued me a $50 coupon.
This is the thread for the game order and everybody got cancelled:
https://www.cheapassgamer.com/topic/335673-dell-assassins-creed-unity-collectors-edition-5999/
And this is part of the email they sent me about the coupon:"Coupon is valid for ONE (1) online order. Your Coupon is ONLY valid for use on http://www.dell.com/home, and is not valid through telephone sales representatives. Online purchase must exceed coupon value by at least $0.01 before tax and shipping. Not valid for orders placed through a sales representative. However, if you have a sales related question (about your product or price choices or online functionality) contact Sales (www.dell.com/contactus) for further assistance. Coupon related questions should be directed to  1-(800)624-9897."

Now, I saw a discount on a speaker this cyber monday and thought "wow, i can finally use my coupon" since there was nothing to buy on dell.com, so I was trying to submit the order and, SURPRISE, the coupon is not working. It says the coupon is only valid for small business purchases on http://www.dell.com/smallbusiness. I online chat, and that guy told me dell would call me back the next day and assist me with the purchase. NO ONE called. And today, I finally got some time to deal with this. I online chat, and they told me to go to Customer Care. I went to CC, and it was a transfer after another transfer. Finally, there was a guy who works for coupons and he told me he couldn't help me because it's online purchase! And he said he would transfer me to somebody who can help, and guess what, I got transferred to the automatic menu!

So fellow gamers, learn my lesson. Dell are full of liars and empty promises. LEARN MY LESSON!

everyone loves dell cause they screwed up and sent double coupons out on the 25 buck gift cards. ordered 2 games and ended up wtih 100 bucks in gift cards WOOO

This is unfortunate.  But your day will get worse as this thread is not any type of deal and will just be flooded with people pointing it out.

Please lock this thread and post what you wrote in the thread for that specific item.

Dell clearly went downhill after they eliminated that pot smoking, underachiever named Steve.

Before this thread goes into the bit bucket, can I suggest one thing?  Is it possible to move all threads to the appropriate forum instead of just deleting them?  I've seen several posts get deleted before I can view any comments and I didn't really see a reason for the deletion.

watever, just reminding people. looks like i shouldnt be doing this. believe it or not, that's what happened, and i'm out.

I ordered a new 360 on Cyber Monday from them because the one I have took a poop.

It's still sitting saying my item is "In production" and hasn't been shipped. It was delayed 4 times already.

My guess is Dell bit off more than they could chew with black Friday and Cyber Monday.
