The major retail ads from last sunday had some decent deals for 40-42 inch lcd tvs
599-699ish+tax though.

I have a 42 inch Dynex, and I think it's pretty good. It goes great on high definition channels and gaming. Standard definition TV could be better though, but overall, not bad for the price!

At this point I'd wait until a month or so goes by, usually some great deals to be had on Tv's around the super bowl.
