Man Blade Runner is expensive. Worth it, but expensive.
Got mine preordered and I'm bummed it was basically a bomb at the box office. Really enjoyed that movie

Also isn't this the week we get our $10 in store pick up gift cards or whatever? Besides that Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga price is a fuck yes for me this week.

Thanks, Tyork.

Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga is $40 base price. So is it $19.99 (save $20) or $29.99 (save $10)?

Anything about the new Ghibli movies? The last few waves were all $12.99 on release.
They won't be in stores.

Xb1s 1TB starter bundle come with a game too?

Still may not be worth it.
They don't need to include a game with Game Pass having nearly 150 games. ;)

Thanks, Tyork.

Oops. Good catch.

$40 for Rocket League?  That's either a Switch-premium or the developers/publishers are tired of their success and being millionaires and want to move up to billionaire status.

Unconfirmed but these are being featured along with the new Kirby and Mario Kart 7 and might also be $10 off:

  • :3ds: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
  • :3ds: The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
  • :3ds: Pokemon Ultra Moon
  • :3ds: Pokemon Ultra Sun
  • :3ds: Mario Party: The Top 100
  • :3ds: Metroid: Samus Returns
  • :3ds: Animal Crossing: New Leaf
  • :3ds: Super Smash Bros 3DS

So will Borderlands be $11.99 with GCU? I finally got a sub a couple weeks ago and not sure how it works yet. What's the minimum for free shipping? Nearest store is a good way away so I'll mostly be shopping online.

Yes. GCU gives you 20% off of their advertised price, so Borderlands will be $11.99.

I'm assuming you're just a regular My Best Buy member, so minimum for free shipping is $35. If you are Elite or Elite Plus, there is no minimum.

Do you happen to have next weeks full ad? Trying to see what 4K TV's they'll have on sale next week before I decide if I want to go with this weeks sale.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, just a regular member. Was higher once, when I lived near to one, but that was a long time ago now.

What's it take to get that? Is it dollars spent in a year or is it a paid membership like GCU, or...?

Dollars spent per year. 1500 for Elite & 3500 for Elite Plus.

Do you have a model in mind? There's 20+ TVs in the ad and I'm not typing them all out...

Pretty much any 55in 4k TV. Just trying to find a good price on any model for that size and resolution. So far most are capping at $399 so anything in that price range.

Metroid Time, thanks for posting.

I recommend you spend an extra $200 for the TCLP605. It's the best 55" 4K HDR TV on the market for the price by far. The local dimming and very low input-lag make this TV worth the extra bones. Just make sure you at least have a sound bar as the sound is shit.

I've heard great things about this TV. Whatever you do, don't get a 4k TV without HDR; it's pointless. HDR is what makes 4k.

Time to find out if buying 10 dollar eShop cards for in-store pickup earned me 10 dollars in credit per order.

I bought one mid-December. Awesome TV...until last Tuesday night. I'd just finished watching Netflix. The TV turned off by itself. I tried everything (factory reset by plugging the TV back in while holding a button combination on the unit, different power outlet, etc). Never turned back on, just died. I was really bummed. Fortunately, I was still within the 30 day return period. I got the Sony X800E and after some tweaking, I'm really happy with it. The PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, and SNES Classic all look great on it. Can't wait to see Blade Runner 2049 on it.

Sony X900E and the Sony X930E. Please. If you don't mind.
65X900E is $1499.99. 55 is $999.99.

Any info on price drops past 2699 on the LG oled65b7p or c7p?
All LGs in the ad are 1080p.

Nothing 55" in that price range.

The 2018 TLC 6 series sounds like an improvement from the P series so if you're interested in one, you might want to look into those and hold off on buying anything until they hit stores and reviews are released.

Warner Brother seems to have taken a new approach to physical media it knows will sell well regardless (and despite how 2049 did at the box office, Blade Runner has always been a perennial seller on home media) - first IT and now Blade Runner 2049 locked solid at $25 for the Blu and $30 for the UHD regardless of retailer.

It's been speculated that Warner doesn't put their movies on sale in the first month due to a deal with Redbox.

Yeah, this has been going on for a while, since at least last year. The good news is the films eventually do go on sale within a month or two (usually for $14.99 or so).

I’ve been going digital lately for my 4K movies. Usually can find codes for $10 or less for digital on various trading forums. And I’ve been surprised at how good the streams look even when compared to disc.

That said, I get the 4K Blu-rays when they go cheap then sell the codes inside to recoup my original purchase. :)

Got 2049 last month with some deal at FandangoNOW for about $15 just because I couldn’t wait to own it!

A 1080p disc on a 4k capable player and a 4k TV look slightly better than 4k streams minus the HDR if it has it.
At least a lot of those codes have DV so that helps.
Otherwise I like your plan, 4k physical especially with DV is king and always will be

Anyone here with a 900E, is the 34ms input lag really noticeable if I've always gamed on an LED anyway? Like I'm most concerned about PvP stuff like Rainbow Six Siege and Gears 4 with the wall bouncing and strafing. Does it feel pretty responsive? I don't plan on going pro or anything but I do like to play competitively for fun.
