Maybe it is time to get some PSP games that I have missed. I kicked myself the last time Dissidia 2 had $5 off because I thought the price would drop like all other PSP games.
 
Hmmmm So their pre-order sale is to take off the normal $5 off pre-order bonus and put on a Canada Day Sale $5 off bonus instead...essentially keeping the items the same price? Kinda lame lol
 
It says $5 off select games for each platform, but I can't see any titles on the webpage I'm being linked to. Does it mean every title then? and do you think they'd price match and also take the $5 off on top?

I used my $10 best buy coupon to preorder Innocent sin and my brothers best buy $10 dollar coupon to get Devil Survivor Overclocked.

Total comes to $28 after tax for each game. Pretty good since I didn't expect them to give me a $10 coupon for zelda in teh first place.

What the crap... I didn't even know Innocent Sin was coming out in North America. Are they re-doing Eternal Punishment as well?

Did you have trouble applying the zelda code? Mine wouldn't take any money off the total and I had to get the lady on the phone to do it manually.

Ya I recieved the email a while ago, had it preorder at amazon, can finally switched. There is no annoucement on Eternal Punishment, but at least the full series is finally out in north america.

Mine worked fine, I just applyed it at the same page with the credit card (I was watching out for it too but it worked on it's own). No Hassle on my end.

I was buying a previously played game with my Zelda coupon and wondered if the code wasn't supposed to apply to used games. The lady on the phone had me read out what the email said and because it didn't specify I think that's why she manually applied it. I think she wanted to see if my email said new games only but it didn't, for a minute she sounded like she had figured it out but after I read that she said nevermind.

I'm still waiting for my record of agarest war zero limited edition... they just send me a email saying it's currently out of stock... the game is supposed to be out two weeks ago :S I hope they don't pull an amazon.ca and say they can't get the game anymore and cancel my preorder.
 
I think it will be okay, someone on the forum said it can take up to month. Ordered PS3 and there was 4 in stock so it should be shipped within a week. Well see.

Its a low profile game so lets give them some time :p

Ya I thought like that when the game came out two weeks ago, since they have online quantaties and it says their warehouse gets stock at the end of June. Yesterday I got this email though:

This happened to me before as well but, for a blu-ray film. In the end they removed it from the website and gave me a $5 e-coupon for my trouble. Hopefully you have better luck.

I'll be really really pissed if that happens... the game is hard enough to find as is.... Time to trips down to the states to ensure a copy or something.

it seems if you preordered when it was in stock it should come but then again with the canada post strike maybe thats why theres a delay? purolater probably took over who knows what happens to you in thier hands... hopefully youll get your game tho!

I'm waiting on the Agarest LE too, pretty annoying. I wandered into EB the day after it's street date and they had copies available there. Of course they're long gone now.

Na I don't think they shipped it, maybe they had problems getting their shipments in because of the strike. They do still have the game list as in stock online... Well this feels like one of those surprises, the email for shipment is delayed and next thing you know it has arrived at your door (that happened with me with Legend of zelda, no signs of shipment, next thing I know a knock on the door and I got my game).

Did you get a 10$ coupon? :p If not you should file a complain for one. Makes the wait bearable.
edit: You should look at EBs though. I have seen some around as of last week. I regret getting PS3 over 360 :(

Hmm I only got a $10 coupon from the zelda game... I already got the game for quite cheap :p Don't think I should push my luck. (49.99 plus tax for record of agarest war zero limited edition).

Ya I don't think there will be anymore in Vancouver Eb's, but it's a different story if I'm at the states. I'll be doing a road trip and probably visiting seattle quite a bit so I'll do a search then if this fails.

I'm happy they actually brought the ps3 version over this time, I just ordered the game from zavvi just cause I prefer my ps3 over xbox 360 (I do own the naughty edition, it's also available at a eb games I visited in the states).

One boxing day sale a few years ago I ordered Firefly complete series on Blu-ray from Amazon.ca when it was already out of stock cause it was really cheap. They kept sending me those emails about how they're trying to get it but I should feel free to cancel the order... I kept waiting and waiting. They finally sent it to me about 3 months later and wouldn't you know it the hinge was broken on the inside of the case but the set was still listed as out of stock on their site so I lived with the broken case rather than send it back and wait another 3 months. It felt like a game of chicken, they were waiting for me to give up and cancel but I kept waiting it out and finally got it!

That's pretty lucky, two times that has happened to me and they never gave me the option to wait it out, they just cancelled it for me and follow up with an apology email.

That's weird, mine is still in process.... Hopefully it'll process today or tomorrow, I heard the backlog at the postal office is going to take 1 month to clear.

From what I heard they're processing newest mails first, and then slowly work their way backwards... so if best buy uses canada post for their warehouse shipment, it might be why they haven't received the game etc... well just a guess...

My order is in process, it seems the cancel button is gone so it might be shipped soon.

Well I bought my first used game from Best Buy during this sale, just received it and the case is all grimy and gross. I would not buy another used game from them, yuuuuck. The disc is fine but I don't wanna put this case alongside my other games on the shelf. Guess I'll try to clean it later. There's also a very large sticker on the back that BB put on there, will try to get it off with a hair dryer.

ichit4k4, ya it's been weird, Bestbuy and futureshop has been very fast with all their items to me, it's why I prefer them over amazon. It generaly takes a day, so much easier to anticipate when the package arrives.
